As far as the horse program goes, Camp Cedar Cliff has an excellent horse program. For someone to say that the staff have no training at all is quite a hasty statement. I have worked on the summer staff for Camp Cedar Cliff for several years now and I can tell you that the horse staff is excellent. They know the horses and will not let the kids ride on a horse that is not "trail-ready". They spend countless hours training and breaking the horses all year long to ensure the horses stay in shape and are tame so that even the day campers can ride them. |

Parents beware. The Staff at Camp Cedar Cliff has no training with horses but yet they offer trail rides. The girl that runs the stables has no background or training with horses and has never owned one. The camp has turned away professionals that own and train horses but yet they won't untilize these equestrian pros. This winter most of the horses were nearly starved and all of them have health problems with little or no training. All the horses and tack are in poor condition. |

Our family loves this camp. We have three boys who can't wait to go again this summer. The couselors are great, the facilities are great and believe it or not the food is above average too. Give it a try and you will be very happy that you did. |

Both of my boys, 11 & 14 loved Camp Cedar Cliff so much they wouldn't let me leave the camp when I came to pick them up without securing a deposit for their spots the next summer. I was so impressed with the staff and when my older son applied for a job there, I found out why their staff is so good. The application, interview and screening process were VERY thorough. What great peace of mind to know the caliber of role models that are being selected to be around my children for the whole week. |

Our daughter worked at Camp Cedar Cliff and our sons attended camp 2 different weeks. They all had a wonderful time! We personally met several staff members and were impressed by their spiritual maturity. Thank you for providing a wonderful safe christian environment for our children to go to and they cannot wait to come back. |

My son went to Camp Cedar Cliff last summer and his experience exceeded all our expectations! The feedback I received couldn't have been more positive, and that was in regard to all aspects. My son is a perceptive boy and he was as enthusiastic about the Christian content as he was about everything else. The facilities and the staff were outstanding. Camp Cedar Cliff has been an awesome experience for us. My daughter has been so blessed by the activities and the counsel she has received while at camp. It really energizes her and spurs her on to Christ-like living. The counselors really seem to have cared about her and really talk to her about her walk with the Lord and encourage her. She loves the outdoor adventures; things she typically doesn't have opportunity to do. I would recommend this camp in a heartbeat and look forward to sending my child(ren) there again. |

Camp Cedar Cliff (formerly Cove Camp) is awesome! It is a truly special place for children to get away from the challenges of daily life and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each year when we picked our son up, he hasn't wanted to leave because of the friends he has made and the fun activities he has enjoyed. Camp Cedar Cliff is a truly special place. Our son attended four summers and had a terrific time each year. The staff lives their lives in a way that shows God's love through them. What a blessing Camp Cedar Cliff has been for our family. The first time I sent my son to camp he was very reluctant about going but when he came back that was all he talked about for months. The next summer he talked his sister into going and since then they have counted the days until they can go back. It changed their life and I have seen a growth in them spiritually that I had not seen before. When my husband and I went to visit the staff was very engaging and polite and willing to answer any questions we had. My daughter was extremely shy and made friends very easily there. The staff wrote to my children to see how they were doing and that made them feel very special. I highly recommend Camp Cedar Cliff to every one I meet. |

This has got to be the best camp my daughter has ever attended. It has now become a part of every summer break. The staff at Camp Cedar Cliff genuinely cares for their campers so much and really shines differently than any other camp staff I've interacted with. Their heart for what they do is clearly displayed in their great attitudes, love for Jesus and love for the outdoors. Camp Cedar Cliff is, without a doubt, a place where you can have a summer adventure that lasts an eternity. The staff are hired through an intricate process involving applications and interviews to ensure that they are the ones for the job. It is one of the best staff's you will find anywhere! The facilities are wonderful, and new buildings have just been added as well. If the magnificence of the Welcome Pavilion doesn't take you back, the view from it definitely will. God continues to do amazing things at this camp. He reveals Himself in ways unthinkable. You can't find an experience like this anywhere else. Week after week, campers continue to tell of what God has done in their life that week, many committing their lives to Him during the week. Sure, activities are fun and food is good, and this camp has all of that. However, Camp Cedar Cliff puts an emphasis on having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, because when all else fades away, Christ is what remains! |

Camp Cedar Cliff is a wonderful way to grow in your relationship with Christ. They've done so much for me and I never regret a week at camp. Each summer is so consistent and unforgettable. The counselors are amazing and and so nice to the campers. They really care. The schedule the camp sets for campers is crazy fun! Everything is perfectly planned and wonderfully organized. I grew up attending this camp! Every year, I would have a countdown in my room for the next time I'd get to go to camp! The activities were so fun, I made great friends, my counselors loved me (and I loved and wanted to be JUST like them), but most importantly every summer I met Jesus in a profound way, that I never would have at home! Camp Cedarcliff is a wonderful place, and I definately would recommend it to anyone looking for a summer camp to send their child! |

Camp Cedar Day Camp is by far the BEST day camp in the area. A variety of activities to keep my son busy throughout the day and learning more about Gods word made this a wonderful experience. When my son came home and said he wanted to take his Bible to camp I was overwhelmed with joy. He plans on coming back next summer for Day Camp several weeks and a week of overnight camp too. I gave Camp Cedar Cliff five 5's because it is the BOMB! Going there is the best thing I've ever experienced! The camp director and staff do an outstanding job, and of all the camps I've been to, Camp Cedar Cliff has been BY FAR THE BEST! It's a place where you can truly grow in your relationship with God and go to the next step with him in your spiritual walk. I highly recommend going to this camp because I guarantee it will change your life just as it did mine. |

Staff is enthusiastic. Camp is in a great location to be secluded from the outside world and have a personal week with God. Great activities and camp outs. Superb attention for campers. Never a dull moment. Definitely a place to learn more about yourself and to grow closer to God. |

The staff is amazing. The full-time staff are truly godly people who continuously pour into the summer staff all season long. That love and accountability shows as the staff loves and leads the campers throughout their week. The cabin groups are smaller, which creates a great atmosphere to build life-long friendships and to grow in their walks with Christ. The Carolina mountains are a perfect backdrop for this Christ-centered camp. I highly recommend it. |

Camp Cedar Cliff is an excellent camp. They do everything in their power to make each week for the campers a life-changing experience. They have awesome activities for the campers, however campers don't talk about how those were their favorite part. They talk about the relationships they built with the other kids in their cabin group and the staff members as well. This camp's mission is to "innovatively communicate the truth of Christ's love in word and deed." They truly do carry out that mission well. |

This camp is an amazing place to spend either a week or a whole summer as I have done multiple times! If there was ever a place to send your kid where they would get access to some of the greatest people that will influence your kid in a very positive way dont think twice about the camp that they should go to... this is it. CCC is a place where lives are changed and kids go home to very grateful parents. I have never heard a negative word spoken about Hugh Wright and the staff that runs the camp. Rest assured that when you send your child to CCC they are in great hands and will be begging to stay! |

As a camper i really "found myself". God really used it to open my eyes and many doors in my life. Camp and the staff got me through alot in my life, and i love every one of the staff members i have had the opportunity to work with. There is a big difference from when i was a camper and a staff member, the bonds are so different. It is amazing though. i loved my time there, and will cherish it forever. |

Wow, Camp looked amazing. What a change from last year when we came to Camp. The Front Gate is amazing as well as the pavilion. Even though the name has changed (Cove Camp) Camp Cedar Cliff, is better than the Cove Camp ever was. We look forward to see the staff again next summer. |

Cedar Cliff is one of those camps where you are not only going to have an experience that will make your life, but you are going to have an interaction with the God of the universe. While there is a key element of having a "fun" time at camp their main focus is making sure that the kids who comes through the camp gate do not walk away with out knowing who Jesus Christ is, what He did for us, and how much He cares for you.
I personally am I product of this camp and can say with out a shadow of a doubt this camp has changed my life, dramatically. I have been at this camp for 12 years as a camper and as a counselor. I don't want to be anywhere else. Camp is my home away from home. |

this is the most amazing camp i have ever been to. i went there 4 times as a camper and now work as a counselor there. the activities are fun, well led, supervised, and safe. the staff are all encouraging, enthusiastic, and very well trained (in cpr, 1st aid, safety standards, etc...) the focus is on bringing kids to a strong, fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ through proclaiming the Gospel truth, through discipleship, and through love. campers feel secure with the profanity- and coarse-joking-free environment. i would recommend this camp to anyone!!! |

Formerly under the name of "The Cove Camp", this facility has been visited by thousands of campers and I am proud to say that I am one of them. This camp is so amazing! Their staff and counselors are dedicated to making a week of camp fun and exciting for their campers. Some highlights of a week at camp include Adventure Ball with the entire camp after a picnic on the big field, Pool Olympics, Bombardment, Ropes Courses, Rock Wall climbing, Rafting and "camp fire" programs. Every counselor is trained for each activity and knows how to keep each activity fun as well as safe. This camp, when I was a camper, impacted my life with so many great experiences and lifelong friendships. Working from Biblical principals and profound outdoor leadership skills this camp has an amazing ability to change lives and make a positive impact on every camper through fun activities and eye-opening outdoor experiences. |

Camp Cedar Cliff is an oasis away from all of the junk and stuff going on in the world. A place where kids can get away from TV, school, and life in general. They learn about the amazing love of Christ and the relationship that you can have with him along with having amazing experiences and making memories and friends that can last life times. The staff are loving and ready for anything. They love each and everyone of the kids that come to camp and tend to each of their specific needs. This camp is by far one of the greatest camps and I would recoment it to anyone! |

camp cedar cliff is an amazing facilty in the beautiful blue ridge mountains. It boasts two awesome ropes courses, a challenge course, ziplines, climbing walls, a huge pool and so much more! plus the staff is great and a whole lot of fun!!! |

Cedar Cliff has amazing leadership! The counselors show Christ's love to their kids. My children have attended camp for years, I feel that they are in great hands during their stay at camp. My girls spend their whole year counting down the days until they can go back to their "favorite place in the world". I'm so thankful for the influence that camp has had in my daughters life. I know that without this healthy, postive Christian influence they would have not grown into the women they are today. I would greatly recommend cedar cliff to any parent that is looking to put their child into a safe, loving, Christian enviroment, that teaches their campers about the amazing love that God has for us. |

As a former camper and staff member of the former Cove Camp, there is not anything bad I can say! The camp staff had a huge impact on my life, both spiritually and in everyday areas. This is one of the main reasons why I chose to work at the Cove Camp myself. The staff is truly dedicated to the work of Christ and everything that they are doing. The camp in general always seems to be growing and offering more programs/activities for its campers. It is because of these things that campers want to return year after year! I absolutely love camp Cedar Cliff/Cove Camp! The Cove Camp taught me so much about my faith and my belief and helped strengthen me for the world. The staff is amazing--fun, outgoing, and always encouraging spiritually. The facilities were great. I loved all the activities but feel like the nature trail can get a litle old when you're doing it in cabin 4 and the crafts as well. i felt like all my councelors were willing to councel and encourage me in my faith, which i greatly appreciate. however, there were behavior issues going on with teasing other children etc., that the councelors at time overlooked. overall..i will work there one summer and am sad that i will be unable to this summer, but GOD has other plans. Camp Cedar Cliff is an amazing camp with an adventure-packed week. From Adventure Ball where everyone is dressed crazily, to Pool Olympics, to overnight campouts and cooking over the open fire, events are Christ-centered, fun, and meant for individual growth. Kids will be in the hands of truly one of the best staffs you'll ever come across. There's something different about Camp Cedar Cliff. Amazing things occur there. |

one of the best camps that I have ever personally attended and worked at! I would send my kids there! This is one of places where you know that your kids spiritual life will be challenged. They will see love and care for friends that they may not have ever seen before!

I was a camper at The Cove (now Camp Cedar Cliff) for five year, and I worked there for four years. I have nothing but good things to say about this camp! The staff is wonderful, and the activities keep the campers busy all week long! |

Camp Cedar Cliff is awesome! I grew up going, ended up being a counselor because I loved it so much and still keep in touch with other counselors and friends that I made. I can't imagine summers without them while growing up. |
