As a counsler from the middle 60's I think that the camp has moved forward by leaps and bounds. It seems that all improvements both physical and activities are to the good. The camp has changed quite a bit since I was there. I would like to visit it once again....blumax_13@yahoo.com This was a great online presentation. |

GREAT improvement on the Facilities this past winter. The Lodge looks awesome and the remodeled bathrooms are a big plus. |

The YMCA camp on lake wenatchee is truly a god send, my daughter has been there multiple times and has met most of her best friends at the camp, she has so many stories and things to tell me when she comes home, she pretty much acts like its the end of the world when i drive to pick her up on the last day of camp. She is constantly bringing up how much she enjoyed camp and how excited she is to go to the leadership program this coming summer. the counselors she explains are completely dedicated the them all the time and act not only as a supervisor but also as a friend. There is always something fun to do there and all the mixed activities they are involved in is brilliant, i strongly applause this camp :] |

Our son loves this camp. We have sent him here for 3 summers now and I am sure we will be sending him here for many years to come. Kudos to Tim the Camp's Director for his caring way of working with our son when he was homesick |

I love this camp, I have been going there for half my life and I love it, I could never survive a summer with out going there. The LDP program is amazing and I had such a blast! Everything would be a five except one time a spider fell on my bunk and that was scary. I can't wait to come back next year! |

This camp is amazing! I have been a part of this camp since 1994 and I am sad that I will not be there next summer. The staff are friendly. The director puts his heart and soul into making "Camp Magic" happen. But the best part about camp is the campers. Without the campers there would be no camp at all. Everyone should come to the Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp at least once and experience all it has to offer: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, archery, horseback riding, hiking, river rafting, arts and crafts, and much much more! Summer camp is a vital part of the social aspect of childhood and will be remembered forever in the hearts of every child who attends. I am going to miss camp. But, I have 14 years of memories to think about, campers lives I've changed, and best of all, the staff who have become lifelong friends. I WILL be back to visit next summer! |

This camp rocks. Definitely a good place to send a kid. The kids get good moral learning as well as a safe fun experience. |

The Camp has great staff who make the experience for kids great. When I was a counselor there were no lights in the cabin that would be a nice feature to have. For counselors there should a computer to access email as it is a major form of communication. The activities put on by the camp are great it teaches patience, skills, and forms friendships. The camp is a great place to be. I had a blast as a counselor there and I learned a lot. |

I still think camp food flavor could be improved on. Mary and I would donate our chef talents, for next memorial day camp. I loved gracie. I just think the flavors hurt the ambience of what we are looking for in a family camp memory. I over heard many comments from almost everyone only on this topic for improvement. I think you have many great cooks who attend, I think you should take us up on the volunteer. Or have a cooking taste contest to choose. Eric was willing to hirer a local chef from Leavenworth, to help with his experience. Tim, we even liked your cooking better! (((smile, wink!) seriously.... lori |

The staff at this camp are some of the best that I have ever seen. This camp makes sure your child has a special experience. Of all the camps I have worked at, this one by far, has the best staff, year after year. |

I have been a camper, counselor, and director at the Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp for over 13 years. I love it! If I did not have to get a "real job" I would come back every summmer. |

We have been coming to family camp now for 2 summers. A great value and our kids ask to go back every year. Cabins are rustic but adequate. |
