The camp is in a great location but it's potential is wasted. Negatives: 1)the camp is only from 9am to 4pm. When you factor in the time spent getting off the bus on arrival, lunch time, getting to the swimming pool and back, getting ready to get on a bus to go home at the end of the day, there is not that much time left for "camp life" itself. 2) Because the camp is finished so early , most of activities (including swimming) are done during the hottest time of the day and under brightest of the sun. 3) The swimming pool they use - at Irving Chapley CC - is dirty and quite far (requires busing to get there)- I'd rather my kids not go to the pool at all than go to Irving Chapley. 3) Individual counselors can be well-meaning and enthusiastic but the general atmosphere created by management is not very friendly. Overall, it seems that the camp exists to mostly provide comfortable employment to people running the camp rather than to give kids genuine and fun camp experience. |

I went there from when I was 7 up to about 10 and I hated it. Worst experience of my LIFE! |

I have been at Naorca for 9 years as camper, volunteer and staff. So much is amazing about it that makes me (and most of my colleagues) keep coming back year after year. |

loved it, went ther for over 5 years now, i just signed up for LIT this year...out trips only suck if the weather is bad, then you have to stay in ur tents...lol |

i love this i have been going for 5 years and the staff is totally awesome i learned so much in there and the forest. My favourite part was the out-trips. Naorca will always be in my heart |

This camp is pretty good!!!! I've gone one year as a oathfinder, and another as an LIT!!!! And this year I'll hopefully get accepted as a leader! And btw ( awww I lost the game ). Lmao :p. ... |

I went to this camp as kid and Loved it ! I have the fondest memories and long lasting friendships. I remember learning swimming skills and passing the swim test to go in the deep water it was a great feeling! I loved the games and the counselors and went there from blue jays to eagles |

I Love this camp!!! I had ben Attending it for 7 years!! woot woot!! Remember all the What whaaaaaaaats with Steve and the craaaaazy song we would sing as we were coming to camp!! "OOOOO were form Naorca and were on the best team..." Iwent there from t-birds to being an LIT It was great!!! Ill never forget the great times!!! |

WOW! I LOVE CAMP NAORCA!! I have been there for like 5 years and CANT GET ENOUGH!! Love the location!! The games, activities, and THE COUNSELORS!! Can't wait to go back and be a counselor in a few years!!! Can't wait for DODGEBALL and OUT TRIPS!!! My FAVOURITE camp!! |

I from NAORCA and I love it! Love being outside, Love the staff and LOVE the good times! If you like nature and making new friends this is the camp for you. The staff connect everything with nature and make it fun. |

i've been to this camp for two years and after your first year there, it gets boring because all the games are the same and basically everything you do is the same each year. it's an ok camp. |
