Click to report rating    7/25/13   5     5     5     5     5   So this is my second year as a camper and camp arrowhead !! It is soo much fun and i cant wait to go every week ! All the counselers and really nice and funny but im not fond of a couple .. U also have a great oppurtunity to meet so many new people !! I have met so many friends last year as a camper and mostly the same people come back and we all get reunited !! The trips are so much fun because u are free to do anything that you want.. But there are counselers always supervising you and helping u wich is important cause at most camps the counselers just leave u ... Also new kids come every week and they all have instant friends!! Everyone is so nice and all the activitys are so much fun !! Tgey also have water thermoses where u can fill up your water throughout the camp so u always stay hydrated.. Counselers are always telling u to stay hydrated anyway .. I cant wait for next year because we get to go on trips everyday :) RID: 45367

Click to report rating    1/23/13   4     4     5     5     5   Ive been to arrowhead twice i think it was fun the staff are n great. They do what they are supposed to and go a beyond. It is true everythinmg is outside and kids get sunburn and stuff but there is shade and buildings. I love the activities they are good for littler kids and bigger there is fishing archery etc. They do pay special attention to you is really good. If your kid is attached to you does not like sun or swimming and is shy or claustraphobic this is not good for him/her.If you want a happy camper come here youll get 99.99% of your money's worth. We will rate again after we go to the summer camp and not just a week. Bye ;):) RID: 43476

Click to report rating    12/22/12   5     3     5     5     4   This past summer was my child's first season at Camp Arrowhead. I was very nervous because my son is only three years old, however they do have half day options. The counselors are very sweet. My son does have an attatchment issue to me and is on the shy side. I adore both the Unit Director Elise and the Pool Director Craig. Elise would always let me know his troubles and how the counselors included him. Craig took my son in the pool everyday understanding of his fear and would call me every day with a daily report. The pool always worried me at camps; they do a phenomonal job here! My son adored him and now is swimming at Red Bank Y. I am not a fan of the entire camp being outside, however they do have pavilions and tents for shade. We will be back :) RID: 43257

Click to report rating    7/15/11   5     3     4     4     4   This is my daughter's third year at Arrowhead. The campers do a variety of activities from art & crafts to nature to cooking to sports. Every year she has had very nice counselors that she is happy with. The camp is also very diligent about security, which is important in this day and age. Whenever I or a relative comes to pick up my daughter they have to show I.D. in order to do so. The only downside that I can see is that there aren't a lot of indoor facilities for the kids. Otherwise you get a lot for your money and a happy camper. RID: 36401

Click to report rating    12/12/06   3     4     4     5     5   This camp is an okay camp. We go on a lot of trips. If you just finished sixth grade, you go on two. if you finished seventh grade and higher, you go on four trips a week! Features such as art, boating, archery, lacrosse, hockey, volley ball and more. The counselors are ok. Get one counselor on you good side, and you have all the counselors on your good side. RID: 5899
