The camp is divided into 2 parts- one side is your typical youth camp area with cabins and bunk beds. The other side has accomodations for families with everything from tentels (wooden a frames), individual family cabins and lodges complete with air conditioning and maid service! The food is superb and the lake is one of the most pristine in New England with boating, tubing, and a sandy beach. The hub of activities center around the chapel with different speakers each week, Bible studies and wonderful music. Every afternoon the beach is where everyone goes. There are also many fun competitions in soccer, basketball, soccer, bocce ball, shuffleboard, and many other activities like crafts. At night there is an ice cream parlor where people gather for games and conversation. The staff is excellent. A Wonderful experience! RID: 42217

The food is incredible and the lake is pristine. Attentive staff and a range in accommodations make it an excellent option for families coming from different economic backgrounds. My children love this place and it has become the highlight of our summer. RID: 35647

Click to report rating    1/13/07   4     4     5     4     4   I think this camp is really great for the little ones as in the campers. Yet, for some teenagers they may feel neglected in the work area (kitchen, waitressing, housework etc.) The enviorment in religous but highly clique-ish for teen girls. The younger children always have a good time though. The facilites are okay I suppose. They are for children anyway. The bathrooms are much better for girls then boys. The dining hall is decent and well-kept. The bunks are... well it depends on which cabin you get. They are cleaning each cabin better and better. Only some cabin that are in the back of the property of the camp could still use some furnishing such as pain to cover up some '70's immature chilish behavior. >.< Otherwise children can go to this camp with their parents feeling happy that their children will come home graced and making many friendships. Ta-Ta- 4 now! RID: 6757
