Tap is truly the most special place on earth! Our three daughters each very different all have loved going to camp each summer. It's a traditional summer camp without any of the unnecessary bells and whistles. Lake swimming, waterskiing, sports, songs and lots and lots of traditions! |

My daughter is returning for her 2nd summer this summer. I have amazing things to say about this camp. Parents don't hesitate to send your daughter here. I went to Tap for 3 summers in the 70's and glad my daughter enjoys it as much as I did |

My daughter has been going to Tapawingo for years and comes home each summer as a stronger, more confident, more outgoing individual. Tapawingo is a nurturing environment that accepts everyone for who they are, while pushing each child to reach outside their comfort zone and try something new. If you are looking for a camp that develops true leadership abilities in your daughter and fosters life long friendships, Tap is the place for you! |

I worked at TAP for five summers and was amazed at the effort and attention that Jane and the Leadership Team devoted each and every summer. Safety was a main focus, with drills and reviews mandated. A full week of orientation was scheduled before the campers arrived to prepare everyone for the summer. One day I will get back to "the place of joy" and be part of that wonderful experience once again! |

What separates Tapawingo from any other camp is the value it places on tradition and friendship. I spent 8 summers at Tap where I made memories and friends that will last a lifetime. The happiest days of my life so far were spent at camp interacting with girls of all ages, singing camp songs that were written by girls from past generations and learning how to respect others, be confident in who I am and have fun in the outdoors. The campers, counselors and leadership staff are amazing, the camp is beautiful and the bonds of sisterhood that are formed at Tap are unbreakable. |

Send your daugher here without a doubt. This camp shaped me into who I am today and changed me completely for the better. I don't know who I would be without Tapawingo. It truly is one of a kind and will give your daughter much more than a great summer but lessons and memories that will stay with her forever. |

I went to Tapawingo for 7 years and it was AMAZING! I met so many new people that I still keep in touch with today! The people there were always so nice and it is my favorite place in the world! I wish I could go back for the rest of my life! There are so many activities to pick from and there is always something new to try! No matter what there will always be some one there to listen and help if you're having a bad day. Overall Tapawingo is the best camp and I have nothing bad to say about it. |

Tapawingo was one of the most meaningful experiences in my life, and that is saying a lot. Caring staff, incredible lifelong friends, and traditions that are embedded forever. Times have changed and kids have many options now. But for this entitled demographic, camp is still a good choice for young people. Not just the grand tour or more college prep activities. Girls grow and mature at Tap, despite the fact that campers are typically from comfortable or wealthy families. Nothing can replace the friends and memories that endure. |

I attended Camp Tapawingo for 5 years in the late 80's. Tapawingo is a wonderful place to send your daughters for the summer to not only particiapte in physical activities, but develop socialization skills, self confidence, and most importantly, self awareness. My grandparents and parents owned summer camps in Maine for decades, so camping is in my blood. Without a doubt, I intend to send my twin daughters to Tapawingo, to help them develop independence and a sense of self! |

Tapawingo is so much fun!!!! The activities are endless and for the most part, the staff is good but some of my counselors were strict. The facitlities are limited but I still had so much fun. The waterfront is so much fun with waterskiing and all. It also has a good balance bewtween tradition and sports, etc. As for religion, yes most are Jewish but they take anyone. Great Camp!!!! |

Tapawingo is the ultimate camp experience that every young girl should be able to experience. The friendships that I made there over 15 years ago are still as strong and I cannot wait to send my daughter one day! |

This is the place to send your kids if you are Jewish, rich, extremely shallow & of course have money to throw away. There are much better camps out there. Don't waste your time on this one. |

My daughter has been going to Tapawingo the last two years and she loves it! Jane and her staff run an amazing camp. It is a very special place with great counselors and activities. The little sister program started my daughter off on the right foot and they have a 3 1/2 week program if you think 7 weeks is too much. She did the 3 1/2 week program her first year and loved it so much that we have continued to do the 7 week program each year. If you are looking for a camp where everyone is included and you don't have to worry about how good you are in sports, a place where there is a song about everything (and you don't even have to be a good singer), where you can make friends easily and have the time of your life, then Tapawingo is for you. Talk to the campers and former campers, they will tell you, Tapawingo is a special place where you will have an amazing summer! |

My daughter had a wonderful experience at TAP and will return for another summer next year. She was made to feel so comfortable right from the beginning and loved every counselor she had. It was a fantastic camp for her. |

The counselors are not so good; some are excellent, some are horrible; (bunk 3, remember mitch?!) the toilets in my bunk broke 5 times and we practically had to hold our bladders for days. The lake is freezing and a camper once got bitten by a snapping turtle, plus there are two water snakes that may be dangerous. we named one elvis. i had an okay time, and the counselors that are good give lots of individual attention; plus there are two very very nice counselors for homesickness. they made my best friends feel great. i would rate this a 6-7 out of ten, you could definetally find a better camp. I had a councelor that was very strict and made it hard to have fun, but the owner is so nice and understanding, she fired the councelor after our session. |

I think saying this camp is heavy and religious is a bit overboard. Traditions is what this camp is all about and it is these traditions that make this camp amazing and so comfortable. The staff is hard-working and my heart will always be at Tap. |
