Best summer camp ever! Our 13 year old is going back for a second year and wishes she could stay all summer and do every specialty. She will never go back to Girl Scout camp or dance camp. Do not listen to anyone who gave Pali a 1 rating. The counselors try very hard to deal with homesickness and the best way is not to allow the kids to talk to the parents, but involve them in activities. And there are tons of activities. They let the kids sign up on iTouches for electives now so it is easy and the kids get what they want every day. Just take a look at the Showcase videos from any Friday night and you will hear kids cheering each other on for those on stage. There is such a comraderie. Our daughter will have friends from this camp for life - from all over the US and the world. |

My daughter is 10, she loved this camp! She had so much fun, they have separate activities in the evening for the younger set of 12 and younger and for the older kids. she loved the food. She was in acting academy. Never a dull moment and she said there was not an issue with the bathrooms or cabins. Very clean and well organized. I totally recommend this camp. She went for a week, which I recommend for this age group. She was picked up at LAX with no issues at all. The activities are so varied there is no way to get everything done. She said Water wars and laser tag were her favorite electives in the afternoon. |

This camp is amazing! I absolutely LOVE IT! There's something for everyone to do, don't listen to the moms who have no life. The coolest counselors for Pali 2011 were Shades, Drama, Marvel, Volley, Aces, Keys and Spare Change. Marvel and Volley have helped me with every problem I've told them about. This camp is amazing, and the counselors truly DO care. |

Pali Adventure camp is the COOLEST place I have ever been to! There was soooo much stuff for us guys to do! Secret agent camp was awesome. We got to dress up and capture people and everything. I also like the motorsports that we were allowed to do. We got to ride ATVs, soap box cars, dune buggies and dirt bikes! I never wanted to leave!! |

The best Camp ever! I really had a blast at the Girl Power Extreme of Pali Adventures. I've tried those heart pounding action activities and proved to myself that even a girl like me can really do it if I push myself to the limit. I've realized my strengths (and, of course, my weaknesses) and this made me even more proud of myself. The techniques they taught us for self defense are, I'm sure, great help for us to protect ourselves. This gives us a feeling of security. And the coolest thing is, at the end of the day, we could be as girly as we can get, because we get to indulge in spa treatments, manicure, pedicure and feel relaxed by doing yoga after wards. Really cool adventure and experience! I want to do this again - year after year!! |

The ultimate summer camp! This is the second time I've been to Pali. I've tried a different Pali Adventures Specialty Camp the first time I was here but the one which I love the most - - Extreme Action Adventures was the best ever! I've never felt my adrenalin rest even for two minutes. It was the most thrilling, unique, action-packed kind of camp. From flying through the air on a 227 ft. long zip line, to rolling down the hill and around the lake in a giant inflatable hamster ball, to a ride in a gigantic slip n' slide and get launched into Pop's Pond -- every activity was a heart stopping event -- but hey, I'm only young once. |

My daughter had the best camp experience ever. She chose Pali because traditional summer camps didn't appeal to her. Pali didn't disappoint. Everything is top notch, including the counselors (lots of British/Australians), the activities, food, evening activities, even the cabins were better than most (heated floors). What I liked best was the parent communication - they were on top of every detail. Pali posts thousands (really) of photos of the kids throughout the session so everyday you're guaranteed to see several pix of your (hopefully) smiley kid having fun and being silly. |

This camp is the most awsome place. It is so much fun! The staff is great. But the bathrooms in the old cabins need to be redone and its hard to get a shower cauz there is only 2 per cabin. Some kids were shower hogs and pushy so I didnt shower everyday. But you will have fun and do things you have never done. |

I think that Pali Adventures is an amazing camp. I got sick while i was there and the nurse couldnt have been any more helpful! The food is very good, and although the cabin conditions aren't amazing, its camp, so what can you expect!! But it is worth it. There are many more positive things than negative. Im going back for sure! :) |

My 10 year old attended camp last summer. We were told that there would be 25 10-11 year old girls. There were in fact 2 - 10 year old girls! Our daughter was not emotionally ready to be with 14-16 year old girls. The head counselor would not let me speak with her on the telephone until I threatened to pick her up early. She is a very independant young lady who hated this camp. She was forced to stay in the cabin with her 1 roommate for 2 days because of a "cold"...! The campus had a huge forest fire that destroyed most of the cabins - the website is misleading!! Please look for a camp that is far more transparent - I have serious concern about the director and his lack of integrity!!!i |

OH MY GOD! go to this camp, I'm 13 and I loved it. I didn't know anybody from this camp and then I made friends with soooo many people and my cabin mates were so cool. esecially the counselors. DON"T listen to those other people who gave it 1 star. they are just doing that because they have no lives. |

WOW! This camp is amazing! This was my first year there and it was the best! The coolest counselors are Hawk Eye, Ankles, Teek, Flippy, Jokes, Crash, and of course Shakes! The food was really good. The lake was 45 minutes away from the camp but it was totally worth it! I still talk to the friends I made there. I can't wait to go back next year!!! |

I've been going to Pali since it opened the first summer and love it. It's where I grew up. Both the campers and counselors come back every year for each other, its a community. Not for the facilities, they are lacking. Many specialties are held in a tent or in trailers. There has never been more than 200 campers per session. The running to sign up for activities only happened twice and it was as a game because the computers with touch screens were being redone usually its hight tech. The older cabins are pretty small and sectioned into 3rds but new ones are built to add and replace the old ones and are much bigger and have lots of shelves for storage. The first four years I went I kept my cloths in my suitcase the whole time. They'll let you build your own shelf with spare wood if you know how. |

My daughter went to Pali summer of 2006. It was her first camp experience so we had little to compare it to. Her morning activity was in a tent, hot and dusty, taught by a girl still in her teens. This camp has no real facilities at all, just a few buildings and a swimming pool. Run down and dusty out in the middle of nowhere. The afternoon activity meant 600 kids on the field, someone blows a whistle, and everyone runs to sign up. You get your choice only if you get there first. My daughter and her friends ended up with archery, forget paintball or bungee jumping unless you are a star runner. The cabins were appalling, down a dirt path, one shower (broken for 3 days), two sinks and one toilet, to share w/ 12 girls, no cubby holes, or places to unpack, they had to keep clothes under the bunk beds. Not even a shelf, or hook for a towel. Food is not what is claimed in brochure. On a positive note all I can say is that the counselors were nice and there were lots of great kids. |

I went to Pali Camp with my fifth grade class and it was AMAZING! we had so much fun! the ropes course was the best (even though it was hailing). We loved Paul, the counselor (i heard he's still there) and the games all the counselors taught us. The food was DA BOMB! for breakfast i had pancakes with chocolate chip ice cream *licks lips*. the teachers loved it as well--their rooms were beautiful. it was the coolest camp and i TOTALLY recommend it. |
