4/22/10   4     4     5     5     4   Like any summer camp staff they have their moments but overall the staff was very attentive and helpful. If they didn't know the answer to a question off hand they made sure to find out and bring the answer back to use quickly. Pigott may not be the most up to date camp around but it certainly is getting better. With many changes coming in the up coming season it should prove to be even better than in the past! And who isn't excited for a new mountain boarding course and Firebowl!?  RID: 32627

Click to report rating    3/24/10   3     3     4     4     4   I have been to 9 summer camps in my time and this was by far the worst. The camp was half full (if that) and just felt...empty. Maybe this is because they lopped off most of the trees in the program areas. Considering how few scouts there were, I would have expected to get more personal attention from the staff. Many of them were rude and seemed like they would rather be elsewhere. I know I would have. They do have several programs that other camps in the area don't, including Black Powder and High Cope. But if you're going to a camp just because they have a COPE course...well, that's a personal choice, I suppose. Bottom line: if you are looking at camping in the Chief Seattle Council, head across to Parsons. Don't waste your time here.  RID: 32467

Click to report rating    4/10/09   5     4     5     5     4   This camp has almost always had some really cool staffers. They run a very good program full of fun, and food isn't bad either. But I am slightly upset with the slowly degrading quality of the facilities. Also I was quite saddened to see half the camp's tree canopy chopped off.  RID: 29468

Click to report rating    1/4/09   2     1     3     3     1   This camp has really upset me, as each year we return with our troop, and it seems each year the facilities are severely more damaged, and the quality of the staff has also diminished.  RID: 28372
