MoWo needs no introduction. It is just an amazing camp. I love it so much and would go there all summer if they had horses and a pool. They make up for it though with great tents and decks, air conditioning in the dining hall, a great professional kitchen, boating, rock climbing, a high ropes course, roller skating, great hiking trails, and the blob. I recommend this camp for any camper who is willing to swim in the lake. I just love MoWo |

This was by far the worst 5 days of my life. I wanted to run away, but I was afraid the unstable conselers would catch and torture me as they already were. I slept in a wet, smelly tent taken over by daddy long legs. Each day we had to do "capers" and of course, each day I got put on latrine duty. I did not use the facilities that whole week due to the uncleanliness of the ditch toilets. The letters from my family and friends were by far the highlight of my week, next to, of course, showering, the 10 minutes each day I got alone and away from the freak show I was currently living. My 3 tent-mates and I used the back of a letter from one of their parents, to use as a daily countdown to the end of that dreadful nightmare. In a nutshell, the conselers were moody and lazy, I had to walk 10 miles in the dark to get o my tent, and the meals were a health hazard to the majority of the campers. I did not have fun at this camp, and I do NOT reccommened this to ANY family on the planet earth. |
