Click to report rating    5/12/10 Your kids get real deal robotics education even in the summer. They build, learn about mechanical fundamentals, and heavily programming too. I mean real programming. My friend is an IT manager. He was totally impressed to see what they learned at this place. Each kid must do a short technical journal each day, so i as a parent actually is informed about what my kid did for the kid. Just love this! Then, they conclude the camp with a mini-contest which I got to watch... well all kids' parents got to watch. Instead of just reading reviews, I suggest you should check out their experience at teams.stormingrobots.com too. By the way, one warning. If you kid likes to goof around a lot, you would not want to join this though. Another neat thing they did. They provide apples for children to eat for free. The catch was you must finish it. Otherwise, there is one dollar charge!!!! I LIKED this. RID: 32754

2/2/07 Depending what you are looking for. Since my kids are into science and robotics and do not care to run around much, this one is fabulous. The cost is much lower than other technology camps out there. The computer labs are really cool. I can watch them through this giant one sided window. The couple of staffs/instructors I met are really smart people. I was amazed how they could keep the kids engaged with so much brain work and still had a blast. Another nice thing about this Storming Robots is that they specialize robotics and technology education, like roboclub, workshops and all throughout the entire school year. Perhaps that's why they could do such a good job in the summer camp. My kids love challenge. This camp has offered them not only fun, but challenge. The down side of this is that the kids will not have outdoor activities. RID: 7439
