My son went there for 2 summers (2011 and 2012) and he just loved it. We can't wait to go back for 2013. There is a new director this year but I am sure she is just as good as the previous one. Love that my child can be at the beach while I am stuck in my office!

I went to the camp in NYC and begged my parents to withdraw me early. The staff paid little attention to the campers, there were almost no actual facilities- we spent almost the entire day in the park- and the activities were well below the age level of the kids in the group. I was given almost no individual attention. In fact, at the end of 4 weeks, one of my counselors still didn't know my name. The one activity that seemed interesting (rock climbing) was the only one I couldn't do, simply because the counselors misjudged the time and I wasn't given a turn. Please, do not waste your time or money by sending a child to this camp.

My friend's son went to the one at Nickerson Beach and enjoyed it. About $2500 for 8 weeks is reasonable.
