This camp is literally my summer home. I've been going here since before I can even remember. Some of my first memories are at jockey hollow. It's a wonderful camp, whether you want to go for one week or the whole summer. The overnights are a ton of fun, and I have honestly seen maybe one person in all my years go home from the overnight, because everyone is having so much fun! I've been both a camper and a program aide (now called cit), and cannot see why anyone would want to go/work at anywhere else. Swimming is fun-there are lessons, but also free swim. Without their program, I probably wouldn't be able to swim as well as I can. Songs and games, archery, challenge course, arts and crafts, and environmental are the weekly activities. They are very age-appropriate. The staff is wonderful! I have never found a counselor that I didn't like! Also, the horse and pony programs are wonderful! I did those for many years. I also enjoy outdoor cooking. I love you jockey hollow!
