If there is ONE camp to be done during San Diego area childhood, it Del Mar Junior Guards!! For years we are planning our summers around DMJG sessions, 3 kids spend their summers as junior guards, in all possible capacities (Little Turtle, Junior Guard, Intern..) . Best time, best workouts , and, importantly, ocean safety skills are learned really well!

I love this camp sooo much and it's really fun to do(even if you don't plan to become a lifeguard). Everyday you get to surf, body board, learn about CPR, do mock rescues, learn about different types of lifeguards, and even do a super fun game like walk on water(literally) or octopus tag or hose tag. This camp is a must for Nyone who lives in San Diego. Their program is way better than Torrey Pines JG or Solana Beach JG. Turtle and Russ are the best!!
