My child has a nut allergy for which I brought in an epipen and noted it on his entry forms. His counselor was never told of his allergy. He asked to sit away from a camper eating peanut butter one day because of his allergy. She moved him but didn't believe him. She brought him to the office and was told that he had an allergy and was informed that he had an epipen in the office in case of a reaction. This was the sixth week of camp. The counselors seem to be invested in the children, but it scares me that the camp supervisors never noted my child's allergy with his counselors. His life could have been in grave danger. I won't be coming back.
