This is a great summer camp! The staff are a lot of fun! The best part of camp are the trips and the shows on campus- Mad Science, Brain Challenge and others. We laughed for most of the day. Also, the last day at camp everyone puts on a show. It is a lot of fun!

I took a chance on this camp, in spite of patchy reviews & were sorely disappointed. We've used SUNY's day care ctr for years, which is excellent. Unfortunately the camp itself is severely lacking in comparison. The male director is mostly an absentee leader & when he is there, he has not exhibited any knowledge of child care or that he even knows any of the kids' names. There is a general lack of organization, a definite lack of hygiene & the staff mostly seems to be sitting around chatting amongst themselves, while the kids are literally sitting outside in the dirt with nothing to do. Equipment and games that are available are missing pieces. The staff did not seem to engage the children at all. The kids seemed to enjoy the field trips, but the advertised 3x/wk pool time, didn't always happen. There's not much for younger kids to do & I'm actually surprised no children have been lost considering the lack of supervision. Low cost, but a dirty facility with no air conditioning.

You can't beat the cost! There a a few very good counselors, and they offer great trips at no extra charge. However, overall the counselors and CITs are a bit green and some seem to be on a power kick with a title. It is a safe affordable place for my kids to spend their summer vaction, just not sure its the place where fond memories and lasting friendships are made. My kids love the trips each week, but range from finding the rest of the days long and boring - to being forced to participate in a sporting events when they'd prefer to be playing cards with another camper or reading a book. A more structured and diverse activity day and additional staff training might be a good investment for this camp's director.

I mean i can say its a good camp its just that the executive director is very cheap and the kids have nothing to do because there is no equipment also i can say the trips are very fun for the kids and staff

I've been going to this camp for 3 years and it is the boringest camp ever! There is really nothing to do. The staff is so bad and they curse alot! I've learned many curse words there. The trips are fun!

A basic old fashioned sports-oriented 8 week camp. It is so reasonably priced! Kids have a blast with the many trips, activities and all around fun that lets kids be kids for the summer. We look forward to it every year. You need to call in March for a brochure because it really fills up quickly. The staff is very involved with the children.
