This is marketed as a faith based activities camp. My son attended the first 2 years. The first year was good, but I did not know what to expect. The 2nd year was a HUGE disappointment. No attention or follow up, and I did not request much info. The staff was rude and the emphasis was NOT on faith or building friendships. the rewards were given to athletes only. And actually campers that were not kind or inclusive at all! Very few non texans in attendance and very VERY political! I would not spend any more $ at this camp!

The camp is supposed to be a faith based camp, but that is VERY little. They reward egos and winning over sportsmanship and teams. My child has attended camps before but this camp staff was very unresponsive to my very few questions before camp and totally unresponsive once camp started. The counselors and staff pushed their politics on the campers and politics had NO place here. Patriotism yes, political parties no! I would not recommend sending your child.
