My daughter had a lot of fun. It was a great experience. The facilities are very nice. The counselors are good. The program accommodates various riding levels. I disagree with an older review: there was no mucking of stalls and the horses were not from other barns.

My daughter enjoyed this camp, but was thoroughly exhausted as well. Girls have to muck stalls before breakfast, lunch & dinner which was too much mucking. Majority of horses are large, few ponies. I wouldn't send her again because the horses are rented from other barns and were unpredictable to ride and it is hard to have confidence to learn new things on a big and unknown horse. I think sometimes the riding was scary. The food was good and instructors were good about making the girls drink water. Afternoons were hot for field trips - they should have gone swimming instead of hayrides and hikes.

I don't think there is one day that goes by that I don't think about this camp. It is probably my favorite place in the world. The barn was great and having only 30 campers is really nice because by the end of your stay you get to know everyone. I couldn't fully appreciate how nice the dorms, batherooms, cafeterias and barn was until I had to go to a different camp when i was to old to come back here. I hope I'll get to go back eventually as a counselor.
