This is the best camp that has ever been made! The camp has such a long past and sadly, it closed about last year. Camp Lycogis is a traditional camp that is nestled in the woods. The creek, tents, counselors, and fond memories that I have experienced at Camp Lycogis will never be forgotten.

Warning - I attended Camp Lycogis for many summers in the decade of the 1970's. I became a polar bear there - swam at 6 a.m. in cold creek. I learned dozens of camp songs by camp fire and after meals that have stuck with me for 30 years!! One summer during a 2-week canoeing session we canoed for 6 nights down the West Branch from Selinsgrove into Harrisburg (City Island) - one of the best and most memorable character building experienes in my life - no kidding. Now that I am a spoiled 4* hotel type, I can't believe we carried our food, tents, sleeping bags and clothes in our canoes, through rain and rapids, for that whole week. I hope it is still a super experience - I'm sure it is. God Bless You all. Thanks for reading.

My daughter really enjoyed this camp. She loved the zip line, canoing on the lake, the rock wall and the food was great. Some of the counselors were from New Zealand and Australia and she enjoyed listening to their travels. The tent accommodations are a bit rough and they did have a bear visit in the other camp on the last night. Just remember not to bring sweets to camp! Overall, a great experience for her!

This is one of the best camps i've EVER been to. The rock wall and ropes course is awesome! The staff is so friendly and they make you feel like you really belong there. They also help you get over fears but don't make you do anything you're afraid of. Everything about this camp is AWESOME!

There is a lot to do. You can go swimming in the creek, there's rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, kyacing, crafts, and games. The only part that wasn't cool was that there were a lot of rules you had to follow at meals. You couldn't sing, talk with your mouth full, or put your elbows on the table. And you had to have your napkin on your lap. Otherwise, it was cool!
