We booked a camp for March Break back in December 2023. The disclaimer, which we still can't find in our registration documents, apparently states that the company may cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We received notification 2 weeks from march break (March 11, 2024) that camp is cancelled due to low enrollment. If a parent cancels less than 3 weeks and 1 day, they lose ALL their money. Low enrollment is NOT UNFORESEEABLE in a child-care, service based business. We are now either looking at a camp costing upwards of an additional $250 we didn't budget for OR having to take 1 week off unpaid, losing me $1000 in wages. We asked the company for reimbursement for these costs. They provided us the waiver that includes no duration of time, no list of reasons, no real help to parents. And the icing on the cake? At the end of today's email (february 26, 2024), the camp apologized for any inconvenience their poor business practices "may" have caused us.
AVOID, if you can help it.

My child has special needs and the staff dealt with them very well and always ensured that he was involved and integrated. Head office was easy to communicate with and always dealt with our requests and suggestions promptly. Would recommend highly

My child is currently enrolled in the GBTC summer camp in Markham. I have to say that my child is very happy tomorrow will be their last day. Camp counselors are always on their personal cell phones. The e-mail we received says our children could not bring cell phones as it is damaging to the camp environment. Counselors are also complaining in front of the kids that they are tired and the kids are too loud. Counselors are having private conversations amongst themselves and telling the kids to not come near them when they are talking. The counselors and volunteers also have no acting background which is apparent by their lack of leadership in the production. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed and would highly not recommend them

Very caring and attentive counsellors -- they instilled confidence calmly at every opportunity. The children always knew what to do on stage. The staff shared the enthusiasm and joy of the students. To shape and create a performance with such a variety of interests and skills is an outstanding accomplishment and shows a wonderful capacity for directing.

This was recommended by a friend … my kids loved it and can’t wait to go back ! My son has always been shy and we couldn’t believe how much he opened up during the week. Staff was amazing, did a lot with the kids. Good range of activities. Staff had lots of skills, very dedicated

Some of the staff at the North York location is a bit too arrogant for my taste. Also, it's very disorganized. The table where you sign in/out is usually swamped with people just hanging around. Not impressed so far, and I'm not alone.

this camp is a very fun theatre camp i learned a lot i really like the activities and all the games and also the counclers were very nice i reccomend this camp any kid who lives in ontario and who likes drama
