If you want a ghetto fab camp, this is the one for you. Not that it was a bad camp, it really was more like a babysitting service in the middle of the central islip court houses! The bus driver, however, was awesome and so responsible! Wish my kid could have stayed with him all day.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CAMP! My son was being bullied and I tried contacting both the director and the main office. The director called my son a liar and refused any responsibility. The main office would not even acknowledge my emails or return my calls. This is a money hungry business who cares none of their campers safety or mental well- being. I regret ever sending my son.

My son has been attending YPDC for the past few years. His experience at the camp has been nothing but wonderful. The camp offers its participants a multicultural atmosphere with opportunities to develope diverse relationships with children from all different backrounds and experiences. My son has developed compasion for the needs of other children. In addition to building strong character, YPDC offers children the opportunity to paticipate in various games and activities that promote good sportmanship, knowledge and (most importantly) fun. Overall, my son has had a wonderful experience attending YPDC, and will continue with this summer '07 session. My daughter will also be attending this summer, and is excited to be going to such a fun camp with her big brother. Thanks to Mike, Ellen, Teresa, Miss Cathy and all of th other camp personel for making my child's experience a most positive one. See you in the summer :)
