Camp Fuller is probably one of the worst places I've ever been too. The staff and campers are total sleazes and gangsters while the staff go as far as to join in on bullying to silence a camper. Their is no "personal attention" whatsoever here. The staff could care less about the campers and would rather hang out with their girlfriends and boyfriends. They also DO NOT monitor the children or the cabin's condition in any way possible. They only talk about drugs and alcohol. The campers are exactly the same. The bully, constantly curse, and also engage in physical contact like punching, kicking, hitting, and even strangling. The facilities are worse then your local dump. The cabin is covered with lint, dust, dirt, and any other disgusting substance you can think of. The bathrooms are even worse than this. The bathroom floor is covered with grime and puddles of toilet water. The activities there aren't bad but some were pretty mediocre. Anyway, just stay away from Camp Fuller. It's awful

Camp Fuller is the most amzing place I've ever been to! I have only gone for 1 year, but that is plenty long enough to KNOW that it is amazing. The staff/consulers are so nice. I got homesick and they talked to me and really made me feel better. The food is okay, sometimes really good, but sometime disgusting. But, hey, its CAMP! I really recommend going with a friend. Camp is so much fun it has a great variety of people and activities! The cabins are cozy and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms really aren't bad. You make great friends that last a lifetime. This is totally a great camp do NOT listen to everyone saying it isn't, they just didn't have FANTASIC expierences like 90% of everyone else on here. I love Camp Fuller it is seriuosly awesome and amazing so pack ur bags and go ASAP!

I cannot describe how much Camp Fuller means to me. Camp Fuller has made me the person I am today. For the past 7 summers I have enjoyed all camp has to offer. Camp got me into sailing, which is a lifelong passion now. Camp got me trying new things, such as high ropes, windsurfing, and skate. But more importantly, I made amazing friends at Camp Fuller who I honestly consider my closest friends, keep in touch with, and look forward to seeing every year. The traditions at camp such as Council Fire, Sunprod, etc. are another amazing part of camp, and are probably what keeps me coming back every year. I just am so happy and comfortable when I am there, I really love everything about it. All the staff are happy to be there, the cabin bonding feels great, meals are so much fun, and the sailing program is amazing. I am applying to be an LD this year, and hopefully in a couple years I will be staff. I can never imagine leaving Camp Fuller, it has changed my life and made me who I am today.

Camp Fuller is honestly the best place I've ever been. I came back for 10 summers. Yes, you get bitten and bruised and you don't get a ton of sleep. Funnily enough--that's if you do it right. But your kid will also return more independent, excited, and fulfilled. As a camper, I wanted to spend a good portion of my time slacking and gossiping. Because the thing is, that that's what I needed at that time of my life. But I also learned so much and had fun while doing it. I climbed, played sports, windsurfed, did archery, etc. I socialized and became comfortable with boys (an important and underrated skill to learn at camp). Moreover, Camp Fuller started my lifelong love for sailing--something I would have never had the opportunity to do otherwise. I gained confidence because of Fuller. I have some of my best memories EVER because of Fuller. Obviously it was sometimes hard to be away from home, to have to make friends, to not have domestic comforts. But that's life. And it leads to growth.

ummmm okay well i think it is better to go with a friend definately because i went lat year and it was without a friend SOOO IT WAS HORRRRRRIBLEEE but still a bit of a good experience. me and my besty friend are going session 2 tommorow and i only am excited because shes coming. i think you can have a fun time as long as you have a friend or best friend, because without them it makes you sad, homesick, lonely, and u cant have the same experience people hope for. mine was fun, just VERY hard and i was sad and unhappy alot. i bet it'll be better this year though wen im w/ my gurllssss:D

Camp Fuller is the most incredible and unique experience in the world. People often say that all YMCA camps are the same, but that is before they expericence the magic of Fuller. The counselors are amazing with the kids, and everyone is inviting and fun. The frendships made at camp are better than anything else. Camp Fuller has played a signifigant role in my life, and has made me the person I am today. I love it!

I love camp fuller so much. I read that someone said that if you havent been going to camp since you were nine its hard to make friends, well i think that if you think that and dont try then you wont. i just started going to cf 2 years ago and i've met so many friends (some old campers and some new like me). either way everyplace has its ups and downs but you have to realize that you're going to camp to GO to camp not to stay in a luxurious hotel. its great if you want to meet new friends and do cool activities. i reccommed that if its your first year u go with a friend but other than that i have nothing bad to say about camp fuller. i wish i was there right now!!! going to camp is a great experience that i hope everyone gets to do.

what ever parent down there said that her daughter was in danger is and idiot not only are the staff amazing but seh defently was not indanger nad of course the counslers left from 11pm to 1am thats there time off and there is always two counslers in the middle of the division waiting to help anyone who needs it. and camp fuller is amazing its been my home away from home for 5 years and i wouldnt trade th world for going therel. the staff is awsome and so are all the program areas adn the people there. you should absulutly send your kids there.

OH MY GOD!THIS CAMP IS SOO AMAZING! if you dont send your kids here, then you are making them miss out. Camp is always an amazing part if a childs life. and Camp Fuller can be that AND MORE. this camp is where I met most of my friends that i still have too this day. even my frist year there was great. all the councelors and campers help to make everyone feel safe and welcome. THIS CAMP IS AMAZING!!

Camp fuller changed my life. I don't think I would be the same person I was today if not for Fuller. Everyone is allowed to be themselves in a warm and encouraging atmosphere. The sense of community is incredible. Not enough good things to say about this place...

honestly, i do not know one person who decides to go to camp so that they can eat filet mignon, and sleep on california king size beds. honestly if you are looking for a complete camp experience camp fuller is one of the greatest places. while the bathrooms and food may not be great, the amount of tradition instilled in those who chose camp fuller is much greater than that at any other camp. Just because you did not have a great time doesn't mean other people won't especially if they know why they are going to camp. those of you who gave negative reviews.... go on a cruise.

I have spent 5 straight summers at this camp and they have been the best summers of my life. From the staff to the activities to simply just the other kids around you to hang out with, it is one of the best places on earth hands down

Okay, to all the people who have problems with camp, i am very surprised. i have been attending camp since i was 6. i am now 15, and i have been to camp for 9 years. i go for a month every year, and camp is camp. the conditions are not luxury but they are what expected from camp. you have to take the good with the bad. camp fuller is the only place i can be myself and is my home. and to all the h4t3rZ, you dont know what you are talking about. camp is the most amazing place ever, the staff are great and it is just an amazing experiance. send your kids ASAP.

camp fuller is like my home away from home we have counsel fires and a lot of fun stuff to. The worst thing at camp fuller was the food so ask your parents to send you packages if you don't like the food. if you dont sign up for the veggie meals most of the meals are chicken pattys. i meet a ton of new people and its pretty awesome going to one of your friends cabins and just hang out with them. the counslers were really nice and they really spent time with you. my CIT, ( counsler in training) kelsey was really nice and fun to hang around with! well all in all it was so fun!

I had some fun and met some really nice ppl at camp. But some of the staff were very lazy they did not do much when when it came to activities. The food was ok for camp. I guess the things that sucked the most is the staff wanted to hang out with one one another more then they wanted to hang with us campers. But I don't want ppl to think all the staff were bad there were some very cool saff. I want to try camp again next year cuz some of my friends will be back. Hanging out with friends are fun but it would be nice to do activities to. Sailing was fun activity but the other ones the staff just did not care as much.

i have been going to camp fuller for 8 years and it is in my top ten faviorte places on earth i love the overall feel for the camp, the counselers are great and all of the activites. it is a great way to meet new people and have fun. i sail a camp and get a blast out of it they taught me everything i know about sailing and now i am sailing in races this camp is great!

The things they ask you to rate on this website do not really give you a sense of what Fuller is really like. In my 6 years going, the food has never been great, bathrooms disgusting, activities sometimes boring, and a whole group of other problems not even mentioned here. But that's besides the point. If I were someone else I might have never gone back after my first year. Now, Fuller is as close to me as my own home. You really cannot trust any of these reviews because usually the people who fill them out are the die-hards or the people with awful experiences. I have even seen people go and have a miserable time. But as for my personal feelings, it is a life changing experience.

Camp Fuller is absolutely amazing! It is SO much fun! I have made so many amazing friends there. The counselors are fabulous. They are young and fun. The kids can really look up to them and since they are young the kids feel that they can talk to them. They have great activities. Everyone has fun. Even thought the food is not to die for, meal time is a blast. I recommend anyone who wants to go to go. You will have an AMAZING time and won't even forget your experience.

Everything about this camp was terrible. It made you feel homesick. The counselors barely even talk to the kids in their cabin. The kids are ****s, and sware constantly. All of the kids are slackers, and just sign up for activities so they can tan, and talk to their friends. DONT GO!

Outstanding camp experience, especially for those who value personal growth for their child's summer experience. I went to Camp Fuller and now my kids go. They think about camp all year. They always come back from camp more anxious to help out. They always pitch in more and are excited about their new skills. Camp Fuller instills the values that they talk about and it is evident in the kids the minute you pick them up. The counselors are great and very well-trained. The reports that I get back from my kids are totally consistent with the experience that I had as a camper, so I am inclined to believe them. I also have found Camp Fuller values to serve me well throughout my life and in raising my own kids. It really is a big deal for kids to know that they "can and surely will". I'm sure it is not the right camp for everyone. It is not a status camp, it is a values camp. Thanks Camp Fuller.

The thing about the coast guard having to rescue the sailing group is true... boats capsized, one mast snapped, and one kid got knocked out briefly. The boats filled up with water, the weather was crazy, and the kids struggled to sail back into the harbor. But you know what? All the kids had a great time struggling with this. It taught us all a lot about safety while sailing, and what to do in an emergency, and having good judgment.
Anyways, this is an amazing camp, but really REALLY expensive. You'll find that mostly only wealthy people go.

this camp is pretty good. the stuff about making out is kinda true, but they arent on display or anything. that lady that was complained of tower be dangerous, wtf? they have harnesses and everything. she seems like a boring strict no good mom. i like this camp. BUT DO NOT GO ALONE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE OVER 11.

Camp Fuller is probably the greatest camp i have ever been to. i went to three camps before i came to fuller, and after my first year i decide i would never go anywhere else. O.k, so the bathrooms aren't the greatest. They are probably just as clean as any school bathroom, so just wear flip-flops while you shower. The food is basically cafeteria food, it not bad, and unlike other camps fuller allows you to bring your own food as well. As for the staff they are the greatest!!! I loved all of the councilors to death, they were all so nice and understanding. They also were great to talk to if you were homesick or had a problem. Sugar Mountain is the greatest place on earth. Many of the claims on this site seem a little outrageous don't you think. Like Do you really believe that two councilors would make out while 12 campers watched. Doesn't this seem a little made up? Even though the palace and the food aren't so good, the camp is great. The stuff about the counslers making out with eachother isn't true at all. And yea it's camp there are bugs there. If you want amazing food, cozy beds, AC, and to have counclers all along the way protecting you and saving you from getting boo boos, GO CHECK INTO A FIVE STAR HOTEL AND ORDER ROOM SERVICE. OMG..where to start..Little did I know my daughter was in danger. Counselors were TERRIBLE! Making out with fellow counselor for 2 hrs after making kids go to bed early. Swearing (f%$%^^&&*^) constantly, leaving the cabin from 11pm to 1am, deliberately trying to throw kids off the tube while tubing, many bruises and injuries, no instruction on rock wall...kids holding other kids up, counselor breaking into vending machine, sailboats had to be rescued by coast guard after mast snapped...AND...weather advisories not to sail that day!!! on the open ocean yet!, not calling parents for girl who was so distraugt she vomited, arriving 3 hrs early AFTER a 4 hour bus ride to go white water rafting, no adults in sight! boy "counselor" making out with girl "counselor" in a cabin full of 13-14 yo girls! 15 yo panicked and wanted to go home at off premises rock wall gym. Found a cell phone and parents were able to pick her up. Daughter had fun but couldn't believe the lack of supervision. STAY AWA

The kids aren't very friendly, and if you haven't been going since you were 9, stay away from thew super campers. Free hour sucks, too little supplies for fun. Also the camp store is way over priced. The activities available are fun, especially kayaking. The food is like school cafeteria food, but they don't give you nearly as much food as you should be getting. I was always very hungry, so I would suggest bringing your own food, for snacks. Its very hot, and the girls bathrooms were very bad. The sanitary containers were always overflowed. The shower curtains were see threw, so you had to take a shower in your bathing suit. I would stay home, unless you bring a friend with you. There are plenty better camps.

this camp is the best i love it so much. this should totally be rated the best camp ever. its not the cleanest place, some people would proabably say it was the worst camp ever, but they have never gone. You make so many friends and everyone is so nice. You get to meet people from all over the world, this one girl in mi cabbin was from italy! we were really close and we still e-mail eachother. I can't really explain it, no one understands how great this camp really is unelss you go. you only have to go for two weeks. try it and you won't regret it!

"Cabins" have no screens, and campers get eaten by mosquitoes. Cabins are like shoe boxes, with 10 bunks touching each other and touching the walls. To get to one's bed, one must climb over other beds. The first 36 hours of camp, no toilet paper was available. The food is horrendous. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OR STAY HOME.

I absolutely LOVE Camp Fuller. Everyone and everything is great there. There are so many activities such as sailing, windsurfing, water skiing. It is especially reknowned for its sailing program.
