In June of 2017 my child was accosted by a camper while 2 other campers guarded the door. My child was able to break free and struggle their way out of the cabin only to be accosted again by the same camper on the porch. No staff responded to my child's screams for help. It took another concerned camper to run to another campsite to find a counselor to save my child. That counselor then had to radio a counselor who radioed another counselor to notify the nurse. When my child did make it to the nurse's station, there was no landline telephone at the nurses station to contact EMS. In speaking with Phantom Lake YMCS Camp's Director, Inda Koller, she was dismissive of my concerns regarding this matter. I brought my concerns about this incident to the camps CEO, Jeff Spang, and for 3 weeks now he has not responded.

I is so amazing! If you want to spend some time at a real camp, with cabins. I strongly suggest you come here you won't forget it

i had the best time of my life at this camp! it has been one of the best exsperiences of my life! i would recommend this camp because of the mant activities, food, and friends i had at camp! this is one of the best ones you will find!

Staff was awesome. This was my son's first camping experience alone and he loved it! Both my children will be attending in 2008.

OMG i love PLYC! Bug, you are like the greatest friend/counselor in the WORLD! I love you. it is so fun there and they have AWESOME things to do. Also i met my boyfriend and my best friend there. great people, great nature, great fun, great memories.

I LOVE PLYC SOOOOO much! I made SO many friends! I live in NYC so i can't see them that much but whenver anyone is visiting nyc they always come to see me!! This camp is sooo funy i have be going for three years and i live so far away but it is totally worth it, i have tons of fun memories and i cry sometimes cause i miss it so much -kasey

Worn facilities and not enough bathrooms (porta-potties have got to go). Program equipment is old and worn. Counselors are good. Food is pretty good.
