We enrolled our adopted, disabled daughter in the Marvins, including completing applications, providing additional paperwork, going to two interviews. Marvin's counselors, their supervisor and camp co-directors, and probably a camp nurse lied to the ACS to fend off a potential civil action regarding their negligent supervision of our daughter.Her pediatrician conducted a bodily examination of our daughter the morning after the complaint was made. He reported to the New York State Child Abuse and Maltreatment Register that there were only "bruises" that "were normal and were not alarming." There's the campgrounds itself. There was also A lack of supervision of our daughter, including: her running into a fence causing an injury to her head, throwing rocks at people, collapse tantrums on the ground, wearing Crocs when she should have been wearing her ankle support sneakers, not wearing her glasses, having her leggings rolled up, and being pushed on the back to the ground by another camper

JCC has the best trips. The counselors are really funny and they make JCC Camp a great experience for campers.

I have been going to this camp for several years now, and I love it. The trips and activities are amazing- the older groups take trips out of the state in air-conditioned coach buses. In addition to that, there are several sleepaway trips where we spend the night at the center itself. The staff pays attention to both camper and parents requests and concerns. I overall LOVE this camp and recommend it to anybody.

Ok so i go to this camp now and its awsome we go on trips almost everyday we take coach buses When we travel outside NY and its so much fun. We just came back from Club getaway and it was so much fun you do so much in those days you are their to bad its over already . Sleepover trips are Hershey Park Medieval Times nd Club getaway and for the one who said the staff is bad shes wrong the staff is so much fun

My daughter attended the SI jcc day camp from the age of 5 - 10. It was ok when she was younger the activites were age appropriate. The counselors were ok. The older she became, the camp experience declined. The counselors were rude, untrained, cursed and in general did not do their job,but spent most of the time socializing with each other. The staff was equally useless. The children whose parents they were frindly with/knew from temple were shown preferential treatment at all levels.My phone calls went unanswered. trips were usually in unairconditioned school buses. i sent my daughter to sleep away camp, because I became fed up with the cliqueish high school type behavior of the adult staff.

i went to the teen travel camp and we went on cool trips everywhere including the trip we're on right now which is at club getaway. its 3 days, 2 nights and its in connetucut. we even get to walk around manhattan without counsilers
