I have attended Camp Alice Chester for the past 5 years and have always had a great time. The counselors are outgoing and really work to get to know you. Everything is very structured, which is a very good thing. There are a wide variety of activities to choose from and everyone gets along well with each other. I will continue to go back to camp for as long as I can.

Worst camp you could go to. Absolutely terrible. Bathrooms are disgusting and the stench is unbearable. Food is gross. Counselor are super weird and mean and they make you make up a stupid nickname for yourself. Probably the worst week of my life. Complete waste of money. I cringe just thinking about it. Needs to be shut down by the health department. WAS NOT FUN WHATSOVER.

I have gone to camp since I was in 2nd grade. I am 13 now am going once again this summer. Everything is clean. Reading other reviews it seems like these people must be attending a different camp. The staff is amazing and I have made many friends in my years of attending. The food is wonderful and the lake the camp is on is clean and clear. All of the activities are exciting and engaging. This camp is not a wasted of money and your daughter will enjoy the time spent at this camp.

I was a camper at Camp Alice Chester three years ago. I hated it each time I went (three summers total). The counselors were friendly at first, but I would have preferred another camp's more professional counselors. The shower house was absolutely disgusting, and the campers who were homesick were not accommodated for. I have always been independent, so I was not homesick, but I did not like the overall atmosphere of the camp. Although the price is quite cheap, I would not recommend going to CAC. It is well worth it to spend more money at a better organized and structured summer camp.

My daughter had a very bad experience here. After not sleeping due to an autistic girl in her cabin yelling in her sleep all night, She was both sick and homesick. Nurse "tink" missed fact that she was sick and tried guilting her into staying by telling her that she was behaving badly and wasting her parents money. This place seems more like a rustic money-making daycare center than a camp that develops girls, look elswhere and pay more for trained professionals.

The staff was very kind to my daughter. She kept talking about Tetris, Vaya, Hoops, Star, Beans, and so many other people whom she admired. Not a single thing to complain about except the parking was a bit chaotic.

This camp can be a difficult place for those who are not Christian, even though it is a girl scout camp and should be non-denominational.
