Having been both a camper and staff member at CTT, I can say with confidence that Timber Tops is truly a special place. The campers are friendly, kind, silly, and caring. They are not afraid to be themselves, and the positive energy is palpable. Counselors at camp are excellent role models for the campers, and the campers idolize them! The head staff care about the safety and well-being of the children, and are excellent communicators with parents. The food is delcious, the facilities are great, and everyone is so genuinely happy to be at camp. I would highly recommend CTT for any girl looking for an overnight experienced filled with nice girls, or for any counselors looking for a fun, and rewarding summer job. CTT is the best!

Timber Tops was not fun for me. The activities and facilities were nice, but lots of the counselors had favorites and ignored the ones that weren't their favorites. The girls in my cabin were very cliquey and mean, and the counselors did nothing about it. Would not recommend.

I went to Timber Tops a few summers ago and I HATED it. The counselors had obvious favorites. I was the only new girl in my bunk and the other girls were mean to me. The counselors didn’t try to stop them, even when they blatantly disrespected me. The facilities were nice-ish, but the atmosphere is not welcoming. Definitely not worth it.

My daughter really wanted to go to this camp, so I decided it would be a good idea. I received a letter from her saying that she just wanted to go home. Turns out the camp was really cliquey and only "Private School Kids" were attended to by the counselors. A few days later I got a call saying that my daughter broke her arm. I rushed to the camp, worried. One of the kids had pushed her off a rock. The counselors discovered her an hour later crying behind a tree. Don't waste your time on this camp.

My daughter is enjoying her second summer at CTT now! I am missing her like crazy but I know she is having the time of her life!! The staff is top notch. They have created an atmosphere where every girl feels welcomed and loved. The place is full of silliness, dressing up, dancing, singing, and encouraging each other to try new things. I love that she is spending her summer unplugged and outside!! She made some wonderful friendships last year and I know she is making more this summer. It is such a special place. I know it will be a part of who she is -forever!

This is our daughter's 4th summer at Timber Tops. She waits all year for camp and loves the fact that she can just be herself and do whatever suits her. She enjoys the girls and the staff and truly thinks of CTT as her summer home. When we looked at camps, we were searching for a traditional girls camp with lots of options, an environment that didn't feel competitive and simply a great overall feel. From the moment we started talking to the directors, our daughter knew this was the camp for her and we haven't looked back. Thank you CTT for all you do to make such special memories for each of the girls every summer!

We never thought we would actually send our daughter to overnight camp but then we visited Camp Timber Tops. We had visited 8 camps up and down the east coast. It is our daughters second summer and we could not be happier or more confident in our choice. There is a genuine warmth, compassion and love that oozes from every acre this beautiful camp covers. The directors are the most attentive and caring individuals. Their passion for creating a safe, positive and kind environment is top priority. They make you feel like your child is just as important to them as their own. Their leadership attracts a staff that is upbeat, nurturing and supportive. It is a place where girls can truly be themselves and celebrates each girls passions and goals all while forming friendships that will surely last a lifetime. We love the confidence, independence, kindness & pure joy our daughter experiences each day. There is no other place I would entrust or allow my daughter to call her second home! Best Cam

Camp Timber Tops is a very Happy Place for girls. As you walk through you will see lots of smiling, hear giggling and singing. Really NICE girls. Healthy and fresh food. Great variety of activities. True traditional camp that allows girls to shine in whatever they like to do best. My daughter was extremely homesick and the director gave her lots of personal attention to help her through it.

There is NO other camp like Camp Timber Tops. This is my daughter's 4th year there and it only gets better. I have never once had any concerns or issues regarding the camp and the amazing staff. The camp directors and staff take care of each girl as if they are their own. The day and night activities have all exceeded my expectations (and my daughter's which is hard to do:). No matter what your daughter's hobbies or likes are...there is something for everyone at CTT. My only negative comment is that they do not allow moms to enroll!!! I would be there on the next bus to Greeley if I could!!!! Thank you CTT for making each summer the BEST summer of my daughter's life!!! We are a CTT Family for life!!! XO

I went to CTT as a camper and then as a counselor and when it came time to think about sleep away camp for my daughter there was no other place I looked. The same family has owned CTT for decades which has kept the heart and soul of the camp the same - but they've updated the facilities and activities to keep up with the times. The friendships my daughter has developed are so strong and she has had the opportunity to try new things, find new passions and step out of her comfort zone in an encouraging, safe environment. There is no better place on earth that CTT!!

I'm very happy to write glowingly about CTT. My daughter is her best self at CTT. When she's there, she's confident, open, and relaxed in ways that she's not during the school year - she's just happier, all around. Her relationships with her friends and counselors are deep and real. She talks to them throughout the year and considers them some of her closest friends. She intends to become a counselor there (this past summer was her 5th summer - next summer will be her last as a camper,) and has even said she hopes to send her daughter there one day. Sending my daughter to CTT was the one of the best decisions I ever made.

Wonderful, amazing, safe camp! Our 10 year old daughter just came home from her first Summer at Timber Tops. This is a very very special place!! She formed close relationships with many campers and staff, participated and improved in a huge variety of arts and athletics, and gained independence and confidence in the best way possible. Timber Tops is a warm, loving Camp and the campers really feel part of something special. Our daughter has a severe gluten allergy and Timber Tops handled this with the utmost compassion and competence. We are so grateful that our daughter had this experience and she cannot wait until next Summer!

My daughter just spent her first summer at this camp and she couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is amazing and incredibly attentive and enthusiastic. It was apparent they were well-trained in handling homesickness. My daughter is on the shy side in school (she just started 4th grade), but camp completely brought her out of her shell. She got to try so many different activities and especially took a liking to swimming. The girls in her bunk were very sweet. We had them over for a sleepover just weeks after camp ended! If you're deciding between a few different camps for your daughter, choose Timber Tops. You won't regret it.

An amazing camp experience where my daughter thrives every summer! The staff treats every girl as if they were their own! Truly a special experience. We make this a priority to be able to provide this opportunity to our daughter! We will be sending our son to Lake Owego as soon as he is ready!

So many fond memories of my years at timber tops as a camper and then counselor. I'm so happy to send my 2 daughters there now. They love it and the camp today is even better than I remember it. Such a great envinroment for girls to have fun and build lasting friendships and memories. I cannot think of a better camp environment!

Timber Tops is honestly the best place on earth. As a camper and then a counselor, I'm happy to call CTT my second home. The staff is caring, the activities are fun and well planned, the food is great and the children are cared for. Timber Tops staff make sure every child feels connected. I can honestly say that CTT changed my life for the better.

Wow! I've only been going to camp for a little while, but its the most special place I have ever seen. the rustic woodsy enviornment really gives you a "campy" feel ( though I could deffinately live without the mosquitos :D) the staff are amazing! They really make you feel at home and help if you are homesick or with anyother sort of thing, the activities are great! even in things that I don't normally like I had fun, the food is pretty okay, the bunks are cozy, the veiws and sceanary are beautiful, but the best part, the awesome friends that you meet. everyone in my bunk was super nice, and I feel like even long after camp ends, we will still be really close. I would recomend this camp BIG TIME! To anyone!

Camp Timber Tops is the perfect place for my daughter. The staff are warm and friendly and handled some difficult situations very well. The leaders of the camp always made themselves available to talk to me. The camp could use a major facility overhaul, my daughter said they do not have enough adequate space for all their programs. Great Camp with great people.

Timber Tops is a fantastic place. Last summer was my daughters first time at camp. What I was most impressed with was how the camp made her feel so welcome. There were a mix of first year and seasoned campers in her bunk, the seasoned campers made her feel so comfortable. Kudos to the counselors for making camp so special for my daughter.

What a special and warm place. Timber Tops is truly a gem. The staff are warm and nurturing, the director and the head staff are receptive and always make themselves available, and the campers are so nice and down to earth. I highly recommend this camp to anyone (except if you live in my hometown).

Last year was my daughter's first summer and she can't wait to get back there. CTT was everything I hoped she would find in a camp. Sweet girls, caring counselors, and so much more! Last summer she was supposed to stay for only 3 1/2 weeks and begged to stay for all seven. Don't let the rustic surroundings deter you- this camp is truly a gem!

Awesome camp!!! My daughter attended last year at the age of 12...tough age for a twelve year old going to a new camp. The campers are the nicest girls on earth and the counselors and directors are too! She had the best summer at CTT and can't wait to go back. A real personal growth, down to earth, wholesome fun kind of summer... Also,if you are wondering what an all girls camp has to offer, in my opinion one of the main things is there are no boys to compete for, so the girls can really just focus on having fun, trying new things, and being comfortable in their own skin.

I went here for my first summer this year. I was very skeptic at first considering the fact I had cried myself to sleep at my old camp (CAMP WESTMONT SUCKS) and hated every minute of it when I was awake. I LOVE Timber Tops and if it got any better it would not be possible. As Anna would say it is AH-MAZING! And shout out to JACKS! Jackie you were THE BEST COUNSELOR EVER!

I LOVE CAMP TIMBER TOPS!! I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR 3 YEARS. It has been the best experience that i have ever had. I am going back this summer and will never leave. I travel across the country just to go to camp at Camp Timber Tops. All of the staff and campers are YOUR family! I would never EVER skip even 1 summer. MY BEST FRIENDS ARE FROM CAMP TIMBER TOPS! I still keep in touch with my friends even if we do live across the country. I even go to visit them. At Timber Tops you foreget that your parents are not with you but you remember that your BFFS are! At home I NEVER go on sleepovers becuase i am too scared to but at camp I am never homesick. They keep you so busy and when you arent busy you are with your BFFS. I have only been homesick once in my entire 3 yrs at CTT.

being a camper for many, many years (and counselor) at timber tops were by far the best summer of my life. There is nothing like knowing that you have a second home, a place that you can call your own. All my my best friends are my summer ones, my sisters. No one understands the "camp experience" until they have truly lived it. Timber Tops takes the traditional camp ways and combine it with the most amazing staff out there. CTT is a place where you can completely act like yourself, and not be judged at all. 18425 is surely the place to be.

I wouldn't give this camp anything less than the best rating. I've been there for six years, and it has become the single most important place to me. The bunkmates from your very first summer stay the same each year, which is great because they turned out to be some of my closest friends. Everyone on the staff obviously loves the camp, and makes each child feel welcome in this home-away-from-home. Visiting camps playing sports against us always comment on the beautiful facilities, and more are added each year. The traditional camp experience is embodied at Timber Tops, and though the girls all obviously have money, very few of the kids are bratty and/or spoiled, and all can appreciate the superb activities this camp has to offer. I love it more than anything. The only downside is that the price raises each year.

My daughter is in her fifth year at CTT. It is truly a magical place. The activities are all wonderful, but not what makes the camp so special. There is an atmosphere of spirit and excitment that is unmatched. You could not find a better camp for your daughter.

I went to Timber Tops for 8 years ( and plan on going back as a counsler) it is amazing there. The people there are truly my second family, and TImber Tops my second home. They make every girl feeel liek they are amazing, and if your homesick they will make you feel better. As you grow up you become closer with thee staff that were oncee the older campers you looked up to when you weree a young camper. Everything about CTT is amazing, except the price...
