Both of my children attended camp during Summer 2015 at Camp Classen. After watching the video about the activities they were excited to attend. When we picked up our children they onformed us that their counselors (both male and female) were disrespectful and mean to them the entire week, I was shocked when I heard the names they actually called my son. They also informed me that they were unable to do majority of the activities on the video because they are only provided to the teenagers. It was disturbing to know that all of this had taken place, but my children were unable to call their parents to let them know what was happening. I will never use YMCA services again. I truly hope they screen their teenage camp counselors better in the future.

I have gone to Camp Classen for over 7 years and returned as a counselor. It has been, by far, the best experience of my life. Ive made lifetime friends there and it feels like home! I LOVE YOU CAMP CLASSEN!

If you are looking for ANY camp to go to, this is the ONE!!!! Everything i look for in a camp is here. This will be my 7th summer going, and i sure can tell you, every year it gets better! anybody who experiences this camp is an EXTREMELY lucky person. I can't describe how much i am in love with cmap classen

This camp was absolutely AMAZING! My school district has a contract w/ the camp, and every year, at different times, the 5th graders pay to spend an entire week up there, we have the collest activities ever! And let me tell you something else, the counsolers, and one on one attention is AMAZING!
