CQE is a seconed home for me. ive gone there the last 8 summers and when im not there im counting down the days till i get to go back. All my friends and family from home know that if they give me the option to talk about it i will and i can talk about it for hours. there isnt a day where me and my best friend of 4 years from camp dont talk. CQE pushes you to better yourself. at camp you will find yourself, have a escape from the city and your family and make long lasting friends

This summer will be my 8th year going to camp queen Elisabeth and I love it there. The stef campers and everyone overall are some of the nicest people I will ever meet. Most of the other girls I have had In my cabins I still talk to everyday. The cabins are amazing they do get a little hot on the summer days but you can’t change that. You have a bunk bed to sleep and there shelving space to put all your stuff. The food is the best and at home I even try to re-create camp food. Out trip is my favourite part of camp, you get to get ready close to your cabin mates and soon to be friends. Our trip makes you grow a lot as a person and you realize that you are worth it and and you can do it if you put your mind to it. Camp activity’s is also awesome experience you can pick things you love to do and make more friends by doing that. Camp has helped me mentally and physically. It makes you a better person and there’s so many amazing things I could say about camp! Reply if yo have questions!

2016 will mark my 7th year at CQE. The camp has fully renovated the facilities so they are quite nice. All of the counsellors are amazing; kind and overall care about the campers wishes or needs for personal attention. All of the campers are friendly ( shout out to Claire... You know who you are). Each camper is a unique individual who brings life into each cabin. Our camp director, Nancy knife, is so amazing! She puts so much much time and energy into everything that she does for CQE. Camp is truly a home away from home??

I started going after my grade 7th year. It was a hard year for me and I was bullied for the majority of it. Going to CQE was really scary for me at first because I thought it would be like school. I was completely wrong. This place is filled to the brim with love. I felt immediately accepted by my cabin-mates and my counselors felt like older sisters. I had the most fun I had ever had in my life and at the end of a very short two weeks I was crying and never wanted to leave. I continued going up until my LIT year, and now I want to apply to work there. Camp has given me so much more confidence and I have become a more open person because of this place. The rocks and trees of the island have become a second home to me and I am missing it all the time. I believe that every child should have the chance to go to CQE or a place like it because I promise you, you will only see positive changes.

I am absolutely in love with this camp. After spending ages 4-9 at a different camp, my parents told me that it was time for a change. I was heartbroken as everyone knows that a summer camp is a home and it's hard to switch, especially with my family being heavily involved with the camp. I went to family camp the year of my first time at CQE and was thrilled and excited for the summer! I have met some of my favourite people there including two best friends who I hope to stay in contact with for a very long time. Everyone is very accepting and there's only cattiness if you hang around a particular group. The food is sooooooooo good!!! I would even say its better than my moms cooking (but don't tell her that :P). The camp has recently been renovated and it's perfect. My favourite thing about camp is the outtrips which are extremely well done. I went on a voyageur trip to Killarney last year and am excited to go to temegami :) Overall you will love this camp no matter who you are :)

I have had the chance to visit many though work, life, and now as a parent. From my perspecive, this is the best camp in Canada.

My daughter went to this camp in 2011 for her first time (age 11). She came back a new person- more confident, more appreciative of life, friends and nature. We enlisted 2 other friends to go along this year. Only negative is no showers (which she seemed to like) and the washrooms need to be upgraded (girls have some personal needs)..

I just started at this camp as a DEL and it was the best experience of my life until i took the LIT program which was even better I will charish these memories forever and hope to get a job one day :)

CQE is by far the best camp I've been to. All the counselours are great and there is a huge variety of activities. The campers are great... Except for a certain group of individuals, who are a bit boy-crazy :/ The food is actually amazing! All the cabins were recently rebuilt so obviously are nice and the best part is I don't think they ever smell. CQE has given me some of my best friends and I can't wait to do Del and LIT. 1 problem though... No one taught me how to dougie :( the algonquin dance party was awesome when people were actually danced... Summary: AWESOME. Nuff said.

My daughters attended this camp and absolutely raved about every aspect of the camp. They returned from camp happy and with nothing but, fantastic stories of making friends. My impression is that everyone got along very well and there weren't any social problems. Apparently, there was one girl that didn't fit in very well but, the girls made a point of staying quiet and accepting each other's differences. Way to go CQE!

I went on the voyagers outrip last summer, I loved it even more than regular camp life. You get to enjoy outdoor life even more but also making even closer friends and with great counselors it is amazing. I would totally recommend doing it because its a great experience. The food is great and there's a lot more freedom and you can be yourself most on trip.

luv the camp but we should get more ALONE activities not only cabin ... needs better washrooms ... water skiing would b fun yaaaaaaaaaaaaa take notes from onondaga and timberlake

Staff are generally excellent, but with a few exceptions, some can be snarky and selfish. I loved the activities there and they were true to a 'camp' experience ie no power boats, wake boarding ect. Very old facilities but well kept and add to eperience currently under amjor renovations, so cost is higher, not great value. Out trips are exceptional and well run. MOst campers very friendly, nice.. some are clique-y. would definitely recommend.

okayy this was my first year and i was in champalin session "a" with heather and tori and i loved it so much and i cant wait 2 go bak next year! the camp is totally awesome and soo r the amzing ppl tht go there and i love it so much and i just want 2 tell people that there is no other better camp the camp queen elizibeth its so fun and i adore and if u want a true camp experirence u should so go 2 camp queen elizibeth and i would just like 2 give a shout out 2 leah cornblum hannah round alex konson and of course KELLY FISHER u guys r so awesome and hot and i love u guys so much and i cant wait 2 see u guys in the summer of 2007 and CAMP QUEEN ELIZIBETH 4 LIFE BABY

CQE is the most awesome camp, i mean, what other camp has rattlesnakes?? Outtrips are the best, the food is amazing!! (We want a cook's parade!)The councillors are great, especially Jason and Liv from the Seneca cabin, and Rob and Andre from last year's Cayuga cabin and i definitely won't forget Evan, from the kitchen staff. -Toms, from the 2006 Seneca Cabin

Its tough to give CQE a great rating on facilities, since they've been there since WW2! BUT camp is going through some MAJOR renovations (rebuilding EVERYTHING) which will improve things! CQE is on the most beautiful site and is full of the most beautiful people. Going there the last years has been INCREDIBLE. I cannot think of a better way to spend my summers. When I'm at home year round, I'm always HOMESIcK for CAMP! It really is an AMAZING place. And last summer a new director was introduced who really improved things. You can tell things are well run and that stadd love what they do. COME TO CQE, you will NOT regret it.

Well i wnt here in Gr 6 fro gr6 camp with my school it was GRATE i was a VERY lucky camper tho coz my cozin was there so that y i gave them a 5 in personal Attentin :D well it was Fun and i LOVED teh dino game:D
