Our daughter has been going to Big Cove since she was eight years old and is now sixteen. I cannot recommend the camp highly enough. Her experience has always been so formative, so educational and so much fun! She talks the entire year about Big Cove and has formed very close friends with many of the returning campers. There is nothing quite like this experience.It is a real jewel and maintains real camping values. It is fantastic! Your child will love it. Dont worry about being homesick, they will beg to go for longer! Mine did after the first session. I credit alot of her maturity and leadership skills to her experience at Big Cove.

This is the most amazing camp out there! It is technically the oldest camp in North America but I doesn't hold the recond because it wasn't in use for a part of the 70s and 80s :( Every session, each cabin goes on an Out Trip or O-T. It's either a canoeing trip to one of nearby campsites (my favorite is Merrygomish Point ) or it's a hiking trip to some of the campsites untraceable with a canoe. The staff were very nice and paid a lot of attention to individual campers. I highly recomend this camp if you are stuck choosing between this one and another inferior camp. I'm leaving to go there tomorrow! See you there!

Bigcove is the best part of summer!! The bathrooms were just revevated and theyre a lot better. BIGCOVE IS THE BEST!!

BOMB TIMES AT BIG COVE!! Went for 2 one week sessions and then a month long Leadership sessioN!! it rocks!!

BIG COVE IS THE BEST PLACE EVER! I am a counsellor at Big Cove and it is basically my home for those two months that I am lucky enough to be there. I'm not going to submit you all to my rantings of love and affection, but I just want you to know that I have attended many other camps, and none...I repeat N-O-N-E of them can even compare to that of the cove! BIIIIIIG COOOOVE!

I went to this camp for Session 1, and I loved it! I got homesick 2 times, but my councilers were so kind! When I remember it, it was one of the best camp ever! Also, it is affordible. I went on 50% assitance to pay the fee (only $450). BIGCOVE IS AMAZING!

I went on my end of the eyar grade 6 trip for three nights, and we had lots of fun! Everyone I know who went has nothing but good things tosay about it. The food is really good, an they have nice, young, energetic staff!
