This camp is amazing!! The staff are responsible and very helpful. It has a bit more rustic feel to it, however I believe that adds to the camp experience! The girls always have a good time and are begging to go back at the end of the week. I would Highly recommend this camp to anyone.

As a camper at CBH in the mid-1980s, I was severely bullied by my fellow campers. The staff was aware of the bullying, and did nothing to stop it. This was decades before anyone had ever heard of an "anti-bullying curriculum," but my experience was extreme even for the 1980s. The counselors sleep separately from the campers, which makes CBH much less well supervised than many comparable camps. Most summer camps these days put a disciplinary policy on their website that addresses conflict resolution and bullying issues. There's absolutely nothing about a disciplinary policy on the CBH website, and when I e-mailed the director to ask how they deal with bullying issues, I got no response.

The staff at this camp are amazing. The girls are well taken care of and have lots of great stories to share. The facilities are a bit rustic, but not so much that it takes away from the camp experience. Thanks for providing a wonderful experience to girls of all ages.

I went to this camp for six years, one year being a counselor. Some staff can be amazing while others shouldn't have been hired. The facilites are primitive but also adds to the camping experience. There are a lot of opportunities and great experiences here. This camp will challenge, and educate. You will do things you never thought you'd do and conquer many fears.
