My daughter went on a school camping trip to Camp Letts, last week. I don't know who thought it was a good idea, but they put 4 children (ages 8/9) in a canoe, and sent them off into the bay. There was a counselor trainee in a motorboat near them, who was less than helpful when the kids ran into trouble (one got sea sick, another one lost a paddle, one had a broken finger and was limited in her ability to row), just encouraging them to row, when 1 1/2 kids simply could not row out of that situation. It was another boat of kids with an adult chaperone, that recognized that the children needed help, and came to their aid. Do these people even do formal risk assessments, before deciding what activities are suitable for the children?

Been comming to camp for years. Its awesome. Not sure who the unhappy kids are as I sure don't see them each year. Must be cool to write unfair reviews. Can't wait to become a staff here. Love it

mediocre nothing special shower water smelled like iron, counslers gave good attention and good enthusiasm bathroom was horrible no leg space had to defecate with door open because I had no space to pull pants up ,they advertise sailing yet olny ten spots for sailing paid for 3 activites did not use them

This camp had bed bugs during my stay. They tried many treatments to get rid of them however could not. I would be covered in bites when I woke up. The counselors are great but the administrative staff is very rude to the children. This camp has a lot to offer but is run poorly.

I gave this camp a bad review for the mare fact my nieces room counsellor was teaching my niece and room mates about witchcraft, spells and trying to convince these nine year olds that witchcraft is good but at the same time they shouldn't share the information with anyone. I have a problem with the kids not able to contact anyone in the outside world during their stay at camp lett. Parents be aware of what's going on at this camp. They are inducting kids into societies that are not right or godly. Can you believe that the dorm counsellor was actually doing witchcraft potion for these kids to experience the act of witchcraft? Unbelieveable

Most of the Counselors are rude. Regulars treat new kids meanly. Didn't feel safe there. My little brother nearly drowned in the pool before someone helped him. Stay away.

Camp is sooo much fun! I made new friends and new enemies. some counsulers were nice and some were mena, the other campers are cool and it was just fun. I went to high ropes and went kayacking. Camp was smuch fun I have been going here for 7 years.

This was the worst expirince of my life. I ran away 5 times, and was terroized by other campers. After two weeks of being terroized I was actualy glad to see my brothers. If you want to cause extreme emotional pain to your self, go to this scary nightmare. Btw, I'm not a nutcase or emo. And there's nothing wrong with being emo.

This is a great camp and each time my son goes, he comes back more mature. I'm not worried about 2 weeks of camp food or too much about the cabins. My kid thinks they're great. The staff are incredibly professional and really know what they're doing!

the staff was kinda weird, but the cabins were very clean xcept 4 da b rooms, they were gross THERE WAS RUST IN THE WATER FROM THE FAUCETS!!! the food was utterly DIS GUS TING!!! ewww ewww ewww ewww!!! yuck!! it was inedible!!! the camp is on the chesapeke bay, so thats really nice. also the zipline is fun. small property, many kids in one cabin. i didnt really like that. overall a not so good to an ok camp.

A fantastic camp for younger children and siblings, as well as those who've been to sleepaway camp before. The waterfront activities such as sailing, waterskiing, canoeing and wakeboarding are phenomenal. I am 14 years-old and will be attending my 6th year of Camp Letts this summer. Obviously, Camp Letts has become a summer tradition for me. I have met such a diverse group of people at Letts and have made some of the most great friendships all thanks to Camp Letts. If you are unsure about sending your children to Camp Letts, there are weekend getaways at Letts for your children. I highly recommend this camp. Thank you Camp Letts!!
