i loved kearney!! I dont know what your all taking about hating kearney i had the best time there..ummm he food was the bestest!! lol but the activites wern't the best but they were sooooo much fun i loved archery and the food!!

What can I say? Kearney is AWESOME! I've gone for 3 years now, and it still holds new surprises every time i go. You get opportunities to learn canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and being tossed like 10 feet high from a blanket. Anyone who is LAME enough to cry because people don't come the moment they fall off their skis is right, they should stay at home. Maybe try working on moving out from your mom's house before your 30th birthday. Enough said.

Best camp ever! I was lucky enough to get a job as a counselor this summer and it's going to be amazing, I hope!

Kearney was soo fun and everyone was nice. Come on guys, you gotta be nice, they're run on a well and they're out in the middle of nowhere.

Unbelievable camp, staff amazing, food amazing, growth of people attending amazing. Looked out the window last day and a Moose was standing there. Unfortunately the other posters were probably homesick and their own attitude ruined it for them! SOES is a gem.

I had a great time at this camp! Unlike many of the other raters on this site, who went with their school classes in the winter, I went to their summer camp program. It runs like any other summer camp, but it's cheaper! I loved the activities, including their great leadership programs. They gave kids down time just to be kids and enjoy the outdoors. I was devastated when I got too old to come back!

This camp was OK. Well it was HORRIBLE! I went in the winter, and we got 2 try a whole lot of fun activites, like snowshoing and crosscountry skiing. PROMBLEM: When we went croos country sking, I got a concusion, and NO ONE CARED!Than I was stressed out and confused. My thoat CLOSED! I couldn't breath. They didn't care. After I scremed they came! I HATED Kearney. Don't go there! It's horrible. Our heater in our room broke and no one cared. I rather go 2 military camp. I'TS A HORRIBLE CAMP! TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!
