Anyone who says this is a bad camp is wrong. I'm a kid that goes to cobbossee it is awesome water parks color war the councilors are nice an stay. If you want your son to go to a camp choose this one! Plus there is great food and they really mean when you make friendships that last forever.

Beyond what my boys have learned in their sports and activities, it has been the bonds that they come home with and the friendships they make. My boys count the days from the time camp ends until the next summer. As parents, we couldn't ask for anything more!

UNBELIEVABLE!! We cant say enough about Cobbossee. Its my son's second home. He counts the days. From the directors to the program, we have no complaints. A great place run by great people.

Happy kids! My boys have been at camp for the last 5 years and every year gets better. The staff has been amazing and it shows to me as a parent. We love Cobbossee and wait until you try the food!!!!

The camp itself is incredible the kids are loved by the staff and the staff do everything to make them comfortable. My son loved this camp but I am sad to say he will not be returning, a close family friend was a counselor there and has told us many upsetting things that go on behind the scenes. Ask your kid who their favorite counselor was last summer and see if they will be returning! Chances are they will not be because most of the staff are not even asked back. After all the work counselors put in and the relationships they create with our kids unless they have legitimate reasons it is unfair to both parties involved. This camp treats their campers like gold but their counselors like garbage, literally tossed aside at the end of every summer. I personally don't want to be affiliated with something like that any more.

Amazing camp, amazing facilities,amazing staff, amazing campers, and of course amazing owners! Honestley, your boys will LOVE this camp and 25 days went by very quickly for him!

An amazing place, with amazing people. My sons love Cobbossee. They have attended for 3 years and its been an amazing experience. The new facilities have been great updates and the program provides my boys with a great summer. I wish this website would let us rank the Food...I would give it a 5 out of 5! My sons don't eat at home, but they love the food at Cobbossee. We all love Chef Louis! This is the place to send your kids. Josh and Jill do an outstanding job and your kids will love it.

Cobbossee is an amazing place. My sons call it their home away from home. They have met boys from all over and have had so many incredible experiences. Josh and Jill are amazing with the boys. You can see how much camp means to them. This is a great place to send you children.

Last year was my sons first year at camp and it exceeded all of our expectations! From the welcome package he received before going to camp, to all the activities he was able to participate in, this camp is first rate. As a parent, I was worried because of all the rain last summer, but they kept the boys busy and entertained. He even loved the food, especially Louis' famous fried chicken! He can't wait to return this summer! Thanks to all who made his first camp experience so special!

My son will be returning this summer for his second summer and all I can say is that it's an amazing place. I was a nervous-nelly mom my first year and Josh and Jill helped me prepare for camp and took great care of my son. He was only 9 years old and when we picked him up, he couldn't stop talking about all of the fun and new things he did during the summer. This is a great place and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a camp for their son!

All I can say is WOW!! My son just got back from camp and he hasn't stopped talking about everything he did. He has been teaching his younger brothers the Cobbossee songs and as well as telling them about some of the special events that they did during camp. We picked our son up on the last day and we were thoroughly impressed with Josh and Jill. Additionally, Beacon the dog is a great asset to camp, my son loved him. We have already sent in our enrollments for next summer, we will be sending our younger son as well. You can't go wrong with this camp.

What a wonderful camp. My son will be returning for his third year and he said each summer gets better and better. The new owners have put much needed updates to the facilities. When my son came home last summer the first words out of his mouth were, "I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK TO CAMP!" What else can I ask for as a parent. Camp has helped my son grow in so many ways. I don't agree with the previous post since. I was very happy when camp announced that they were supplying the linens and towels for my son. Not only did it save me on packing but even more, I knew my son would only be using a towel once, not the same time for the whole summer. I recommend going to this camp and would be happy to speak with anybody who has questions regarding sending their son.

This is a wonderful camp with a fantastic history and series of traditions. Unfortunately, the new directors killed the spirit of Maine camping, and turned Cobbossee into a germ free prison. They are ruining a wonderful camp, and are destroying something that is precious to so many people, by blacklisting good counselors, not allowing certain campers back, and outlawing most of the notorious summer camp traditions.

I have been to this place for the past five years and I have loved it. The food is excellent, the facilities are nice and the activities are fun. The only thing is the new owners (Josh and Jill) kind of killed the tradition. But camp is still fun and i would recommend it to anyone. This is a great camp and you will all love it.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! This summer will be my 3rd summer and it gets better every year!! I didn't know anybody when I first went and now I have so many friends from all over. My counselors were awesome and I got better in so many things. I also got a chance to try to waterski and sail. It was so cool. You have to go to this camp!!

Can we say BEST CAMP EVER!! Nobody has what we have. The best Color War, the best sports, the best staff I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The new directors were really cool and made camp even better. Louis makes the best food and camp wouldn't be camp without.....G-R-I-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-----GRIFFFFF-GRIFFFF . I'm counting the days until this summer. I want to go to camp RIGHT NOW!!!!

We couldn't have asked for more for our son. It was his first summer and he went for the first session. He came home counting the days until next summer. Thanks to everyone that helped him have such an incredible summer!

It is a shame that they decided to make so many changes in one off season. They fired the old directors and hired two new ones who had never even been to Cobbossee. They changed the camp from a 7 week camp to two 31/2 week sessions. The facilities are pretty run down as well. The enrollment was also way down. Although my son had a great time, I have dedided to switch him to a different camp this summer.
