Many things have changed now that there is consistent leadership. The counselors expertly corralled the children’s energy, pulled them into cohesive groups who enjoy and support each other, and taught them exciting new skills. They have done an exceptional job of making sure the Camp Pa-Wa-Pi experience truly reflects and teaches the YMCA core values.

According to my son he didn't get to do all the things that they described in the camp brosure. He was very disappointed, and so was I. The brosure is very misleading. He was there for 5 days and did NO arts and crafts, no team building, and no environmental studies per the brosure. This was during "wet and wild" week, and it states that the camp would be turned into a waterpark, which never happend. They basically just took the kids to the pool everyday to swim. On the third day, my son complained that all they did was spent extra time at the pool and didn't get to do much else. My son was promised an indian arrow head for getting a bulls eye in archery, but never got one. He was really disappointed. This was a waste of money, and he should've just been home with me but I thought this would be a great experience for him. I was wrong!! He will not go back next year or ever!

THE SUPERVISION IS HORRIBLE!!!! KELLY, MICHELLE ALL THE DIRECTORS ARE TERRIBLE AND DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO PARENTS' NEEDS. SAME IN THEIR YMCA CAMP. CHILDREN ARE NOT SUPERVISED THERE ARE LOTS OF ACCIDENTS THAT ARE NOT REPORTED TO THE PARENTS. THIS PLACE IS OVERRATED BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING ELSE IN THE AREA.

I love this camp. i went here for four years, and was a CIT for 1 year, and i really liked the counselors, and the kids always felt happy and excited to be at camp.
