I do not have enough good things to say about CHK. I am about to enter my 6th summer going to Camp Hess kramer and I am so excited. There is so much bonding and tradition it will feel like it is actually your family. I started homesick but I was comforted so well by the kind, smart, empathetic staff, I never got homesick again. The activities are so fun and maccabiah will be your favorite day in the world. Th cabins are clean, the food it good, and when I got poison ivy they immediately helped me very effectively. Send your child here to become a happier, more social, better person, thats what it has made me.

The programs, the staff, the location, and the facilites are all the best of the best. I went here as a camper, and my kids now attend every summer. There is no better place for overnite camp.

Amazing place to be!!!! I can say this is my home away from home. The staff is AMAZING! My life has been changed through my experiences at CAMP HESS KRAMER for good! I can't wait for next years summer because it will be my last year as a camper (leadership 2014!!!!). Ill have to say ill probably be crying for 2 years because ill miss this place soooo much. I really hope to become a cit, counselor, and senior stff when I'm older. Cabins are spacious and very tidy. When I first got here, you see a huge 60 ft. Rockwall and it itimidates you to do all the activities here at camp. Asaf, Gabe, Max, by far some of the best counselors I have ever had! My cabin was amazing. Everyone was just one huge family. If anyone for cabin Joshua 2013 (2004) is reading this, hi Noah, Justin, Mikey, max, twill, Daniel, jonah, Duffy, Harrison, tommy, Justin,max, Asaf, and Gabe!!!! It's elliot . I don't understand all the nasty comments. THIS PLACE IS IN MY OPINION IS BETTER THAN DISNEYLAND!!!

NEVER EVER SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS CAMP! It is absolutely HORRIBLE! My child didn't make any friends, and was crying the entire time!

horrible, horrible. I was there and did nothing. Was so homesick. I got sick and they did not even give me medicine. DO NOT SEND your child there. 2 weeks seemed like a centry to me there and I was miserable. The one thing I loved though was the jewish part because I am very religous.

This camp changed my life for the better. If i had not gone to camp and met the people who have truly become my family, I have no idea who I'd be. At camp i formed my identity, made life long friends, and discovered so many things about my self. If there is one thing you can give your child as a gift let it be camp. because life long friends, a feeling of who they are as a jewish person, and something to look forward to year after year is truly the greatest gift

I honestly don't know what to say about this camp. I went the summer I was 11 (I am now 13) and had a great time. But for some unknown reason I wasn't sure I wanted to go back, and I didn't. I am not a very religous person, this camp was very, very religous to me. Every activity was truly connected to the Jewish culture. If you are pretty religous you will love this camp!!! If you are not religous, you won't have a good time, 45 minutes of services a day, speaking in Hebrew. ITS A VERY RELIGOUS CAMP!!! Also, the staff is amazing!!! Syd, Jordan, Rivca, you guys are the best councelors in the world!!! It is a very hard decision to decide to go to this camp or not!

My daughter loved this camp. The tennis instruction was a little weak, but she had an overall amazing experience. The cabins were decent and she LOVED the food!

Going to camp Hess Kramer was the most amazing time of my life. There are amazing activities and the food is great! We have this big competition called maccabia, and its soo fun. I really enjoyed the nightine activities!

After going to this camp I knew I would never love anywhere quite as much. My cabin mates are my sisters. My counselors take care of me. We are one big family and we all have a great time together! I love CHK and I will be going back for my fourth summer. I love this camp and I have a great time every time I go. CHK rocks!

CHK is soooooooooooooo FUN! Staff is the best! But i really didn't like the praying. I got homesick at first but got over it in the first week. GO TO CHK YOU WILL HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!

I just got back from this camp and it was really fun. I liked the unit activities and your cabin activities at night the best. I made so many great friends here and had an awesome time. I really want to go back next year. The only things that I didn't like were the bugs in my cabin and how we had a set schedule. It felt kind of like school, where you had to go to certain classes at specific times. Overall, though, this is a great camp and you have a wonderful time there. You will make great new friends and do things that you never imagined you could do. Go CHK!

As a former camper and current staff member, I have full faith in the ability of this camp to positively shape the future of individuals, myself most definitely included. It is a unique and wonderful environment that allows both campers and staff to grow as individuals while creating lasting friendships. Though it may sound trite, it is absolutely true.

Sending y child to Hess Kramer was the worst mistake I have ever made as a parent!! After 1 week at camp, my child was crying to me over the phone. I figured she was just homesick, but after two more days of tears I came and picked her up. I didn't even ask for a refund or anything back, I just wanted my daughter out of there, and the camp director was so nasty and mean to me when I went to pick her up, I couldn't understand why. If anything they should be ahppy my daughter was leaving, it was one less person they had to care for! Sending your child to this camp will be the WORST mistake of your life and a waste of your money!

i love chk but at first i missed my mom and dad, but people convinced me that i would have a great time, guess what they were right.the camp activties at camp hess cramer are absoulty amazing, dance ,swimming, art, teva and a lot more things. so if you decide camp hess cramer is the one that you will have fun at. plus right when you get there you and you're cabin will make up a cheer and then you perform the cheer you and you're cabin made up and perform it in front of the whole camp hess cramer

A wonderful experience for our daughter, age 9 and our son, age 11. The staff is amazing: caring, creative, upbeat and interested in each child's welfare. The activities are varied and there's something for everyone. The religious aspect is not overwhelming...it's definitely for reform and conservative jewish kids, not orthodox. The sessions are done by age so the teens have their own session. Our kids actually liked the food! They can't wait to go back.

I have been going here for 6 years. It is the most amazing camp on this earth. If you are new you might not like it at first but during the final days of camp you will be crying. I dont know one person who doesnt love or want to go back to kramer. Even my christian friends want to go there

I went to this camp about 4 years ago for two years. Hess kramer i still remember. I went to other jewish camps though and i think there might be others that are better though. But hess kramer was great
