Balckdown was a new experience for me bc it is an army camp and im a sea cadet i found it harder to get used to things, but when i finally did i loved it there. I miss it there more then i thought i would. THe food was gross but the people there are really amazing... I MISS U BALCDOWN

AWESOME! I was in Delta coy!! lmfao we had really bad tshirts! food was okay, i luv my seargents! hilariously fun at camp...miss all my peeps and homefries xDD

GO HOTEL! best coy at black down x) INDIA SUX hotel won every sports day at the 2006 summer camp thing.
well lemme just tell you, this is NO ORDINARY SUMMER CAMP you wake up 6 in the morning and sleep at 11 at night u do drills, rifling, ftx-ing, listening-to-seargent-yelling and yea... i was in army cadets and i was in H coy (hotel company) well the funny thing was when i was in hotel alpha or bravo ppl (i forgot it was late at night) tried to sabotage our camp sight while we were at ftx. well all of them got caught (i think xD) and we heard seargant and warrents yelling at them and swearing at them in the middle of the night LOL it was hilarious.
This camp is tough but its free and they pay u 60 dollars every week. the food sux but u'll get used to it. roll calls is annoying but i had a good time and i really miss my friends from army camp and ppl there =/ i miss everyone =( too bad im not going back this year cuz i quit T.T well go hotel x)

Excellent camp.The Staff were pretty cool. I transferred out of Army Cadets,to Air Cadets, so unfortunately, I won't be back. :(:( p.s:Go Alpha!:):):):):)

never taken a course in B-down...although i did attend the Caleigh and had a blast! ps. food sucks here.

Awsome camp. I am going to cl marksman this time around to balance out my training, but this like i said before was a awsome camp and i seriously think all cadets should attend for at least basic. Most likely going back for cli (Bravo)I rated it so high because:1.Awsome location 2:good pay 3:cool sergeants 4: Pretty nice activities 5: easy to make freinds 6: whipped me into great phisical shape 7: food was actually good. Hope you go! :)

This is the first time i've every ben to this camp, since i just joined cadets last year, but it was amazing and im definately going back this year!! in ALPHA!

Although the staff can be tough and annoying, the paycheck...I mean training bonus is welcomed. Some of the staff I had were amazing while the others were power hungry and nuts. Even though I was in a musician course, the activities were good.
