The camp itself is amazing. The island is beautiful however the directors have very little to do with the fact that when the staff gets worn down and tired, the kids are going to be the same way. This camp needs some serious work on how to keep the staff happy therefore keeping the kids happy so 8 out of 10 of them aren't homesick and complaining. There is little stability for staff.

Loved this camp so much. I attended Eagle Island for two summers and wish I was still young enough to attend now. I enjoyed my time there so much, although the first summer it was hard to equate winter with the middle of july (it flurried on more than one morning)....Will hopefully send MY children there

Okay a few things. I absolutly love this camp. I made my best friend there. If you are afriad of spiders or bugs of any sort, dont go to this camp okay? It's annoying to hear someone shriek because they see a bug. But anyway, this is camp is really great. The counslers are great (usually) and the food is actually pretty good!! They have a vegetarian option every night. Sailing is amazing on the lake. The only thing I dont really like is that we have swimming lessons every day. They made us swim in like, 32 degree weather. Also, this camp gets freezing at night so if your planning on going dress warmly!! Thats about all I have to say, but I really recommend it!

eagle island is a great camp....it is true that the extreame girly girls would not like it, because it does have some bugs, but as long as your not a brat that doesnt want to do anything and would rather stay in their tent crying, you can make some of the best friends of your entire life, generations of girls go to this camp and it has strong traditions and is a really fun place as long as your open to it, please dont listen to the brats on this page who would try to make you think this camp is anything less than one of the best places in the entire world, i have gone to this camp for seven years and the only thing that could be improved it the drama some of the girls create

This is a real camp on a beautiful island. The sailling, swimming and setting are outstanding. But it is not for campers who want to be pampered.

eagle island sucked...you had to clean the bathroom...theres a reason we have staff there...clean it yourselves...the tent have bugs everywhere!!! all we did was swim eat sail sail eat swim over and over and over...girls go there with cliques so you too late to jointhere was no jet skis or water trampolines no arts and crafts it was soooo boring...and the food stunk i got really homesick
