Click to report rating    5/16/16   5     5     5     5     5   I have been to this camp with several groups of students over the past 15 years and am continually impressed with the positive atmosphere, amazing food and the highly trained, empathictic staff. Many thanks for another wonderful trip. Charlotte RID: 49589
Click to report rating    2/19/15   5     5     5     5     5   Camp Jubilee has fantastic programs for school groups. I have taken my class several times for either overnight or day trips. Staff are great, food is a highlight and they have a great location on indian arm, so close to vancouver. If you are looking for a school trip this is it. RID: 48431
10/18/14   5     4     5     5     5   The camp was super awesome. It's the staff's outgoing personalities that make this camp like it is; they weren't holding back anything while singing and dancing at the campfire! The food was PERFECT. I eat better than I do at home or at a top restaurant. The cook's incredibly good that I can't pick out a dish I don't like! Camp jubilee is worth much more than the $220. I've been closer to people I would never be friends with if there's no camp. The only flaws are the showers and the cabins. The cabins look really clean at first, but then you see dark dirty spots on the floor (that are impossible to rub off) and spider webs (and spiders that are immune to bug spray) on the roof. One of the bunk beds' ladder was facing the wall! There're also bugs in the showers(really creepy). Overall, the activities, staff and food are wonderful, money is totally worth it, cabins and facilities are not bad. I completely recommend going to camp jubilee!! :) RID: 48084
10/18/14   5     4     5     5     5   I came back from camp Jubilee today and it was really an awesome experience. The instructors are super nice and gives everyone tons of attention. Their dances and songs are really awesome; they're not holding back anything! The food is PERFECT. It suits my tastes completely; I eat better there than in a top restaurant! It's worth way more than the $220. I've been closer to many people; I never expected to be friends with them since they're so different from me. I learned a lot during the two and a half days there! The only thing that isn't really good is the cabins. It looks clean at first, but then you see dark dirty spots on the floor (we tried to clean em, doesn't rub off) and spider webs on the roof (warning: bug spray is useless!). We also saw a medium sized spider. There's bugs in the showers too, so beware of that. I have so much to say, but so few words...go to camp jubilee with a couple of friends. It's amazingly awesome(and a bit miserable). Trust me I promise. RID: 48083
9/20/14   1     1     1     1     1   Brought our youth group up for a weekend retreat. The staff was rude, uninterested in being there, and did not act appropriately. At one of the meals, there was an issue with the camp staff throwing food at our kids. When we arrived, a couple of the cabins had garbage and excessive dirt of the floors. The activities themselves were alright, however the kids didn't feel safe in either the rock climbing or high ropes courses. The camp staff were letting the kids drop rapidly, only to suddenly stop and suspend them in the air. It made the experience unpleasant for a lot of the kids, and many of the boys did not want to participate because of this. On the rock wall, many of the kids ended up with scrapes on their legs because not enough tension was kept in the rope to prevent them from falling rapidly. Camp Jubilee needs to focus more on SAFETY. We had a camp fire & instead of giving us means of putting the fire out properly, we were told to "just leave it". I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMP. RID: 47999

4/28/13   5     3     4     4     4   Cool camp but you can tell its old. When i first got to my cabin, it smelled of fresh wood that was just chopped, but you soon realize its just a scent/freshner. The cabins were decent with own washroom, but the bunk bed were sketchy/dangerous. The mattress was simple but still comfy to an extent. There was a couple incidents with the loose screws and ladders falling off. Anyways, I loved the volleyball court and the facilities they have to offer. The food was decent, not top nothc, but what do you expect eh? Overall it was a nice camp, I would definitely recomend if your between grades 3-10 or older. Staff all are always so DAMN cheerful and I have to give a shoutout to "Cole", that New Zelander was truly hilarious. I had high ropes with him and he was so energetic and singing. The weather that day was completly brutally cold and wet but he managed to stay in a awesome mood to cheer all of us up. <3 Go Camp Jubilee RID: 44364

Click to report rating    7/25/08   5     5     5     5     5   such an amazing camp. staff, food and activities are always great--gets better every year! Also, the fact that it is non-profit and gives kids that would not normally be able to go to camp a chance is fantastic. Camp Jubilee is the best! RID: 25112
