Our son and daughter have both flourished at Camp Balcones Springs. This is our third summer and have had nothing but wonderful experiences each summer. The counselors have been great each year and my kids love the traditions, activities and friendships they have formed at CBS. We plan to make this our camp home for good.

This is the most amazing camp on earth! The friends I made and people I met were great an my counselors have always been awsome role models! I have been going for six years now and each day is a new adventure! There are a million activities ranging from sailing and water sports to soccer and fishing and it is most definitely worth the money. I have never had a day there where I just wanted to go home and it provides a wonderful environment to grow closer to friends and god!!

This was my 8 yr olds first overnight camp experience. He loved it. The drop off was smooth and well scheduled - my child was whisked off soon after our arrival and there was no time for him to start worrying about the separation. I got a call from his counselor on the 3rd day to tell me everything was great and he mentioned several specific things about my child which made me feel good - they were watching him. I picked him up on the 14th day and he was so excited to see me but equally excited for me to meet his "new best friends". One was the child of a high school classmate that I hadn't seen since HS. It was great. Since we've been back he hasn't even once asked for his nintendo dsi which, prior to camp, we had to limit - always a battleground. He woke me up at 6:30 the morning after I picked him up with "Mom, get up! We're burning daylight! Let's go on an adventure today!" Needless to say, we loved our camp experience and he's asked for 3 weeks next year. Thanks CBS!!!

This camp literally has changed my life. This year is my tenth year and i cannot wait to go back evry year. its all i talk and think about all year long. my best friendship have formed not just with the campers, but with the AMAZING counselors. CBS is like no other place on earth.

I have been going to this camp for eight years and I have learned so much. I have grown as a Christian and as a human being. This place has changed my life, and is one of my favorite places in the world. Camp is the part of my year that I look forward to the most. I cannot wait to go back. I highly suggest this camp to anyone looking for a Christian camp for their child.

It's boring and way to controlled. Camp is about having fun, that's why we pay so much money to go, not to follow a strict schedule.

We feel there are better value's out there for your money. Staff seemed quite young and camp director quit in the middle of the summer.

I love this camp! I have made so many life-long memories here. I will always remember this camp and what it meant to me, and hope that when I'm grown up, I can send my children to camp here.

This camp is AWESOME! I look forward to it every year, and have been going for 10 years now. I have a ton of friends and the Christian enviroment appreciates everyone! It has a TON of activities ranging from archery to cheerleading to horseback riding. They own Lake Ted (man-made) as well as property on Lake Travis. Nighlty activities include themed dances and games and there is never a dull moment. I highly suggest it.

Camp Balcones Springs gave me the most fun summers of my life. Their nurturing, non-pressure approach to Christiantiy, life, and values was inspiring. They led by example instead of cramming their beliefs down your throat...which is all too commonplace here in the Bible Belt. Responsible, kind-hearted, and loving staff were our friends and our leaders. The facilities and the food were excellent. I still miss their french toast sticks from over 6 years ago...mmm...french toast...The games and activities were friendly to all ages and capabilites. Fun theme days, events, and dances were spread out over our weeks. There was always something to look forward to. In my high school years, I ran into a couple counselors and campers and felt transported back to Lake Ted, the Rio Grande, and evenings spent singing songs together. I only wish I could have returned as a counselor. But I will always have my fun, cherished memories of CBS!

This camp is absolutely amazing! I was in a rough spot in my life, and going here absolutely turned me around! I was no longer in a depression, and I got quite fit when i returned from camp. Their counselors really made me feel at home, and turned me to God. The activities kept me interested, and there was never a moment without PHUN. :D
