I regret so much for sending my kid, staff is full of unorganized idiots...Sometimes they forget to give snacks, not worth for the money they take

My granddaughter attended this camp for six weeks. During the session she was bullied. Clothing was ruined by the other children who put paint all over it. She had her snacks taken by the other girls. Another girl jumped on her and threw her to the ground on rocks. The camp director was notified and did nothing. I would not recommend this camp to my worst enemy.

Some of the counselors are idiots and will waste your time. One of the division leader of the older groups only yells at the kids and does not reward them with anything. There needs to be a balance. Yelling and being scolded certainly does not count as "Personal Attention". Kids need to be talked to and be reasoned with and be listened to. My kids are absolutely terrified of her and I will not send my youngest kid when he turns of age to this particular division if this dictatorship(as they've put it) continues. They are on camp that I pay for and the only wish I have is that they have fun and not be SCARED to make the slightest mistake. Despite that, my kids rave about being on fun trips and overnight! The facilities are amazing, they have a pool and lots of little rooms for activities that spark their interests. This is really important and I'm glad they have it! I know my money has been put to good use if my kids come out learning something new everyday.

Marks JCH is absolutely amazing! I have sent my kids there for three years now, and I do not regret a single penny spent! They have great facilities, great trips and now that my kids are older (11 and 13) they have fun overnights! My oldest boy is now talking about how excited he is to get a summer job at this camp when he turns 14 and be like the great counselors he has had. I just love that my kids are treated like a part of the family at this wonderful place. Very homey feel and very helpful staff!

my daughter was a camper at shorefront..the camp people below are talking about and now she came to the JCH and loves it. although my daughter was in the oldest group and loved all of her counselors a few who were there from her first summer. she complained about the assistant director being mean towards campers especially when they were forced to stay at a park and do nothing for 3 hours every morning. or go to the beach and sit there. these dont count as trips. there were fun trips such as six flags and hurricane harbour but these dont compare to the trips that JCH have. Also JCH has overnight trips which my daughter loved! although my daughter misses her counsleors from shorefront, the ones that they have at JCH soon found a place in her heart and she cant wait to come back next summer.

great camp that everyone should go to they have great trips and really nice and fun staff members and we go on overnights and verything its the best camp anyone would ever go to no other camp compets with it its unbeatable if you go to that camp you know exactly what i mean and if not sign up right now and you won't regret it i probraly sound like one of the staff members but im not im a camper and i wont reveal my mom but i will reveal my initials M.S.S ok ai jion this camp and youll make good friends to dont worry about not making friends its almost in possible everyone is very kind her at marks jch of bensonhurst and if you think im lying about the friends thing im the most popular girl at the camp and im very nice so everyone will be nice too they follow and do as i say so dont worry about that at all im just writing a lot beccause i want to reache the maximum but dont think this is all bogus because it most deffinatley not cause it rea;;y is ok im almost at the maximum 1000 ok bye

I went to this camp after going to a camp that was associated to it. I can truly say i regret not to jch from the start!! The director and the people who work there are amazing i loovee my counselors and the trips are definatly a bonus compared to other camps that just take a stroll down to brighton beach and call it a trip while the assistant director is more like a tyrant and just yells at everyone. Jch is deffinatly the best camp ever!!!
