Worked for this camp for a month, I quit early becouse i do not want to be associated with this camp! The counsellors are underpaid to the point where it can be considered child labour. The food at this camp will make your child sick. I had a child in my group who would pounch, spit and CHOKE kids!!! it was horrible. Nothing was done untill the second last day of camp. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS CAMP!

I went to this camp 4 years ago. It was just a year when I came to Canada from Israel. I just loved it and made numerous friends, it was very fun, with all the activities and the fact that you can return home and share what you did with your family and friends. That was 2007 , then I returned for another year in 2008 because I really missed it, and I still enjoyed it and had almost the same people from my previous year, and again it was the amazing just as the previous year, the optional food you purchase is delicious and you actually feel comfertable and love from the councellers. I am now 16 years of age, and sonce 2008 I stopped going to camps (for personal reasons) but now when I saw all these good reviews which were written after I attended this camp, I have to say that I agree which everyone one of them (except the bad one from 2008). Overall it is a blast and you can trust this camp with your kids and I can assure you that yoour kids will have a summer of their life time!

this camp sucks times 100! we never do anything fun and we have to stay in the sun all day long. dont go here! it SUCKS!!! lastly, id like to say that no one cares about what u do here, they just want the money. one time, a kid threw up and the counceler told him to get a grip. i saw it! the poor kid!I REAPET... DONT SEND CHILDREN TO THIS CAMP!!!

The BJCC facility is top shelf. So many activity rooms, places to swim and play and wilderness grounds in the nearby Don River ravine area. This camp is accessible by people of all economic abilities. If you cannot afford it they have easy subsidy programs. Of course this can present a challenge to the administrators, who are under a lot of pressure to come in under budget. They pass this burden onto the staff who are sometimes overwhelmed with extra duties. For example, they ofer one-on-one counselling for special-needs campers. This means one staff member deicated to the needs of the one camper and nothing else. When the parents leave they have no way of knowing that these special needs campers are simply placed into groups like all the others. Their needs go unfulfilled and they cause disruption to others. The Junior counselors who have no say in the placement of these campers are responsible for their well being and blamed for any incidents or mishaps that may result.

definitely worth your money, and fun activities. the staff and facilities are also great, with a lot of enthusiasm. my only main criticism is that sometimes popularity towards staff and/or campers become a bit of an issue. they should give other people a chance to shine.

I worked at this camp for two years. Not only are the staff payed less than minimum wage but the director andrew levy treats them HORRIBLY! "GET IN THE WATER OR YOU'LL GET A WARNING LETTER!(of being fired" The guy is running a dictatorship over there and the kids are treated horribly. The only thing he cares about is that the camp is making money. Don't send your children to this camp...... your honestly better off keeping them at home and NEGLECTING them.... better than having to pay for it and sending them to Centre Camp. More like "detention" camp.

without a doubt this camp is nothing but ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! a reasonably good price for great programs and probably the most enthusiastic group of staff my children have ever seen for a day camp environment. the Jewish content is also very good.

I was a camper at Centre Camp and I am now very happy to say I'm part of the staff. CC is a great place. I've made many friends over the years I've spent there. I can't wait untill next summer to ask the campers HOW FUNKY IS YOUR CHICKEN???

Been at centre Camp for the passed 14 years! Started as a CIT and became a staff member right after. I made some of my life friends here and I could not think of another place that has enrivhed my life more then the BJCC. Andrew Levy ans his staff have made this summer camp Legendary! Thank you for making my summers more fun every year!

My children have been going to this camp for the past several years, and every year it keeps getting better and better. The enthusiasm level is incredible. My brother lives all the way at Sheppard, and he keeps complaining to me that the camp wakes him up every morning, with all the music and chearing. My kids come home everyday saying "CENTRE CAMP ROCKS!!!" It could not agree more.

centre Camp is AMAZING!!! the staff and kids are so cool to be with, and the activities are so much fun. I just hope that next year the DJ will stop playing the same songs everyday.

Centre Camp can't compare with any other camps... it outbeats them all! Great specialties, energetic staff, fun camp wide programs, and a Jewish perspective - CC truly is 'the best in camp life!'.
