Camp Robin Hood is excellent for boys and girls! DC and Woody have a genuine enthusiasm and love for all the campers and camp itself. The staff is excellent and the activities are awesome. Facilities are just right: not to country club but not too rustic. It is CAMP! My kids have been going for 4 years and will continue to go for as many years as they like. They have had a great experience at Camp Robin Hood. They talk about camp all during the school year and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this camp to other parents. The fact that their core group of older staff comes back year after year after speaks volumes. It is a special place!

This camp is wonderful! I was appalled to read a former negative review. It could not be possible that they were discussing the same camp my children have attended for 6 years. I personally was nervous to send my children to a sleep away camp since I was a "sleep away camp drop-out" from a well respected camp in New England. My failure at camp had NOTHING to do with the camp itself. I was simply not a camper. Luckily I had rational parents who did not blame the camp or the staff for my lack of success. Camp Robinhood is a warm loving environment. It is perfectly suited for kids who want to have a great time. One of my children is a highly competitive athlete while the other prefers arts and charts. Both think the camp is amazing. Their friends at camp are the most loyal, supportive group anyone could hope for. The staff is remarkable. SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!

I am extremely disheartened by some of the previous comments. As a parent and former camper myself of Camp Robin Hood I can without a doubt say this is the best camp. 22 years ago I sat on the same benches where today my kids just finished their first summer among the trees and magic of CRH. So when my daughter came back singing camp songs I was thrilled to have that spirit back in my life and household. I have made friends for life during my years at camp and now I see that starting with my own children. The facilities have been given a beautiful upgrade and the dining hall is new and clean. My son is a very picky eater and he raved about the food. More sports are offered than ever before. Everyone in the “Brass” at camp has themselves been lifetime CRHers. DC and Woody without a doubt live and breathe Camp which is what makes this place so special. They are warm, inviting and fun! There is nowhere else I feel more magic and more at home than I do when I enter into camp. CU summer 15.

woody and dc care a lot about money... dc is a pretentious ****, the girls are rude and there are so many cliques and the boys are just asses. only one of my consolers was actually a camper there and she was a total ****. some cabins are really nice and others are about to fall apart we got the one that was about to fall apart. the food is good, and the lake is beautiful but no one really cares about you and its just not a great community. i wouldnt send your kids there

THIS CAMP IS TERRIBLE. The owners only care about money and running a fake business that looks pretty from the outside. Previous campers become staff when they shouldn't and the directors are jerks. The facilities aren't worth what you have to pay. They don't respect the new staff and they don't care at all about the kids enjoying themselves. They let inappropriate and misbehaved campers stay there and turn their cheek to any of the problems. DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS TO CRH. The camp is fake and the brass (directors) are ****s.

I was a counselor at robin hood. The staff really cares about the kids. And the administration (for the most part) is really supporting of the specialists and works with them to make sure the kids have a great time. The international staff does get pushed aside a bit and for many it doesnt seem as if they are encouraged to come back. Staff gets adequate time off to de-stress. There are constant improvements being made to the bunks and facilities. DC, Woody, and the rest of their staff knew every kids name and made sure that everyone was happy and that there were no issues. I love Robin Hood and am so excited to be going back

I love this camp. My child has been going since he was ten and he would not leave to save his life! He loves the experiences it builds and will keep his friendships forever. He is missing most of his two-a-days as a junior to go to camp. SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE!

ive been going to this camp for 4 years. i previously went to camp walden in NY and they made us eat in our bathing suits! horrible. at this camp everyone actually cares. the owners no every single kid by name and everyone feel loved. this last year only ONE person on general staff had not attended as a camper. people are so committed to this place. For example: i, along with a few other kids in my group, could not attend the new york reunion. (keep in mind this is the closest reunion for MOST ((not all)) of us) because of this we all decided to head to the cleveland reunion. On of my friends is the number one fencer in the world for her age group and shes missing a tournament in buhda-pest just to be able to come. thats how important this place is. i know people who have been counslors for 5 years because they cant bear to give it up. I seriously do not know who wrote the other reviews, but they are seriously mistaken. Camp Robin Hood is by far the highlight of my year. CRH4LIFE<3

Camp Robin Hood is the best thing I do for my son and daughter. Not only have they grown and matured at RH but the friends they made will last a lifetime. The new owners have rebuilt the camp from the ground up while keeping 82 years of traditions alive . New Lodge, amazing playhouse and a new dinning hall in 5 short years. The owners are all ex-RH campers who have kids themselves and understand today"s issues. The phone never stops ringing with good reports about my kids. I have sent all my friends and family to RH and have always been satisfied.

New owners have completely turned place around. Yes, they care about money as Robin Hood would have closed had they not come in! Staff are finally doing their jobs and only the great ones are asked to return. Facilities have all been updated and renovated, including bathrooms and showers. Just look at camper numbers to tell the real story...

I loved Robin Hood when John & Joan were there. These new owners are raelly bad, they put on a show, Jamie is fake & WOODY is WACKO. They are so into money they all but stopped excurisions cuz liability & they cost $$. No trips to ice skating or climbing wall or even to climb Mt. Washington & we are so close. It's good Chuck is still there but he has no control. I would say stay away till new owners could be found. Right now this is "Camp Endangement", the buildings are falling down and the old staff is leaving. They charge your parents for EVERYTHING. They allow the worst foul mouthed kids to stay just for the $$. It's soooo hard to now hate something I once loved XOXO soooooo much!

been there for one year... not great. the water in the waterfountains taste terrible and is brown, the lake is atrocious, the bathrooms...no comment, the food...ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING-we had chicken patties once but i thought it was stringy mystery meat, the basketball courts are so sandy and dirty you can barely see the lines and i fell every time, the bunks and beds are disgusting- there is gum everywhere and the floors are gross and unstable...once there was a storm and i felt like the bunk was going to fly off of the ground. to sum it all up... robinhood is pretty gross!
