when I was 11 this very jealous, very violent girl had a problem with me so when we were waiting for the counsler to get out of the bathroom she put me in a headlock and chocked me until i couldn't breathe.I tried to report it to the c.i.t but i guess she didn't beleive me so she never reported it.That camp was my favorite place but i couldn't go back because of that one girl would give me hell. I recently worked there as a counsler and realized all of my old friends were gone and it was quite boring. I love Hi Hills but its truely not the same anymore

This camp is great. There is so much to do and the staff is the best in jersey. Also this camp has many indoor facilities. Hi Hills camp is the best camp in NJ.

This camp is great!! Two gyms, tennis courts, pool, hockey rink, and lunch is included! The staff members are also highly skilled and trained.

The counselors at Hi Hills were great. They seemed very involved with the kids and enjoyed being there. Most of the staff is compromised of college students and I never heard anyone cursing when I visited the camp (which was quite frequently). I had a problem with parts of the administrative staff though. One of the administrators never seemed to be doing anything but talking to the younger female staff and fooling around in a golf cart. I inquired to who he was and found out that he was a supervisor and he mostly went out around picking on the kids. This was the only problem I had with the camp otherwise i thought it was a great place to be.

As i worked as a counselor there this year, i have insight knowledge into Hi Hills Day camp. The camp is shotty at best with unresponsive, and at times **** counselors. This camp is not worth a penny. There are numerous violent incident each year involving both staff and campers. This summer camp is guaranteed NOT to provide a good experience

this camp sucks. the activitys are playing the same sport all day long in the heat. although, u get to have a lunch break but the food is crap. the conslers are crule to there kids and tell them to shut the **** up. if u go to this camp and like it then u are out of ur mind.

Best: rich set of activities. For kids who like to run around the whole day, and like a large variety of activities. OK: Facilities are ok in cleaniess. My goodness, in some spots, you will find swamps of bees. Good: The administrative staff are very responsive. BUT, the counselors are not. They do not seem to have a good control of bullies. My nephew went there and got dragged through mud by a couple of bullies. The counselors just stood there and watched. I complained to the executive staff, they were not aware of the problem. However, they were very apologetic and took care of problem right away. But, the point is that my experience with the kids counselors is far from satisfying. However, the executive staff is very nice. Cost: Pretty much average as it includes busing and lunch..
