Broken arm read on! My child has been to this camp for two years in a row had fun the first year last year he went to the camp during the week he hurt himself on the Wednesday he was taken to the nurse there they told the councillor that it was a sprain. They did not call me! I showed up on the Friday to pick up my child he was holding his arm funny. The councillor came over and told me my child had been complaining about a soar arm but it was just a strain and not even that. I found out from my child that this happened on Wednesday morning and that the councillor would not even help take his toothpaste lid off or help him zip up his bag on Friday but instead told him to suck it up and be a man. I took him home as it was on the way to the hospital took a look at it, it was red and protruding. we were home for 5 minutes before I took him to the hospital and yes in fact broken arm. I emailed the forest cliff right away to let them know and never was there any response!

This camp is not as good as it used to be. As a former staff of the camp I can clarify that some of the stuff said is pretty true. The counsellors are quite negligent and sometimes don't even care. Pretty much half the time when I was counselling I always had bad co-counsellors and terrible peers. They are lying, deceptive and very un Christian at times. I used to love this camp now it's a big shame to call itself a "camp".

Worst camp I have every been to in my life. The food is disgusting and there is a clear lack of hygiene at this camp. One night we had lasagna for dinner. The were no proper servering utensils at the camp so the counselor used his dirty to server us our lasagna instead. After every piece he picked up he would lick his hand. This camp is heavy religious and if you don't fully accept "Jesus". They will not respect you and treat you horribly. The activities you pickled you would never end up doing. They would just assign you one at random. At this camp there isn't even a camp fire. When I went the had logs set up in the fire pit but never light them. Instead at the "campfire" you just end up talking about "Jesus" some more. The facilities are made to look nice from the outside but they are run down in the inside. All the food made there was made in a microwave even though they had a fully operation kitchen. This just shows the lack of effort they clearing put into this "camp"(prison).

They added more kids to each cabin. The camp counselors were more like kids them selves and pick on kids they don't like. Would never send my kids to this camp again.

I went to this camp in 2010, and I loved it! I find it really hard to find a camp that I like and it this one was easily the best. You're stuck in a cabin with at least 6 other people so you definitely meet new friends. The facilities are excellent, with all sports and a beach and other activities like riflery, kayaking and wilderness...etc. All the staff are very kind and helpful, if for example you get hurt or homesick, they always come and make you feel better. Especially Elmo and Cheskes ;) This is a Christian camp so you sing about God and read devotions every day. The food there is great- I liked their taco bar. You also swim three times a day. The great thing is that with your cabin, over the course of the week you get to try all the activities. ( the camp has a lot.) I would recommend this to anyone who was considering going and am happy to say that I'm going again this year!!

A really amazing camp with very professional staff who truly care for every camper. The perfect enviroment for children with a separate week for teens. I have had a lot of great experiances there!

Love this camp, to bad I only got to go there for 1 year :(. But I'm thinking about volunteering there. It is just that great, lots of singing though, if you into that like I am you'll have no problems. The staff is wonderful! I Love you SOCKS and GUESS!!!! Best camp ever!

I went to Forest Cliff for 3 or 4 years, including 2 years at teen week. The camp facilities, activities, and staff are phenomenal, and I can honestly say I wish I was young enough to go back there. Unfortunately, it is a Christian (*cough*born-again*cough*) camp, and there is a very big focus on Christian themes, both in the daily hour-long "chapel" sessions, as well as prayers before every meal, and many Christian-themed songs at the nightly campfire. There is also a daily bible discussion in each cabin, and a lot of pressure to "accept Jesus". If you believe in that kind of thing, or can at least put up with it (I could, I went to Catholic schools my whole life), Forest Cliff is a great place to spend a week every summer. Just make sure you come with a positive attitude about the whole singing-about-God deal, or you'll get frustrated with it rather quickly. Have fun!
