This camp is small and consists of families that have been going for generations. My child was a brand new camper. At 9 years old he was yelled at and cursed at by a much older camper until he cried and nobody did anything about it. He asked to contact us and was told he could not. We dealt with several situations like this until he asked to come home in a letter. The counselors were totally non supportive, some flat out mean. He tells people he loved camp 50 percent and hated it 50 percent. The facilities and hiking he loved, and he really liked some of the kids. The counselors and the way the kids were treated by them were the bad part. I should have known when they had openings so close to the summer even though they only take 90 kids that something was amiss. Should have gone with my gut. Friends who send their kids to other camps heard just a bit of what my child went through and we're completely shocked. Beware.

I have been going to this camp ever since i was allowed to. It is simply amazing, unique experience that one could get no where else. This is not just a summer camp it is the total lifetime experience.

I went there for 5 years wish i could go there for 5 more. i am definitely going to go back and be a counselor there. it was the best experience in my life, and has forever changed me for the better. this camp means the world to me and is the perfect place for everyone.

i have gone here two years and even though my friends at home hate it when i go here and they miss me soo much. i still go.i love it and the friends that i meet like DORIS
