A change of management would be helpful. My daughter was injured and they did not call me. While not terribly serious, I should have been notified as it did involve her face and she was in significant pain.

This camp might be good for teenagers, but they include kids as young as 7. My daughter was 8 when she went there. The good points: she made international friendships, got lots of riding time, and slept inside. The bad points: that dorm is not in good shape at all! The 8 year olds were 2 to a room, and not well supervised. Her roomate pulled her off the top bunk one night. She took her clothes. It was weird. As a parent, I would have liked to see an adult at the camp. I met only teens and college students, although there is an adult apparently in charge. The camp posts pictures of the campers on the internet a few times per week. My child was in about 10 of the 500 or so ones posted, and none of those posted in the last 2 weeks of the camp (it's a 3 week session). The woman in charge belittled my concern that maybe my child wasn't participating, or maybe they'd lost her...In summary, not an appropriate camp for a young girl because of insufficient supervision.

i loved this camp!! the horses and staff were great. the only thing i didn't like was being tied together during the gold rush.
