I will explain all ratings with the characters made available to me. Aside from the campers and tradition, the Staff is what makes this camp what it is today. This summer alone(2012) 72of the total 74 Baco counselors (ages 18-24, some older) were at one point campers. All 72grasp the true belief that BACOPRIDE goes beyond being a life lesson, lifestyle, or supporting beams, it is the overall meaning behind what it means to be a kid and successfully grow to be an adult. The goal is to pass this tradition down to those who will utilize it in the same way. The Facilities are those of a "camp"not"resort". They have bunks, not bungalows, a lake, not pools, camp food, not gourmet, and all elements come together perfectly to make it what it is. I was a camper for 6 years and counselor for 2. The things I learned here were never misleading, and will never be forgotten. I hope my own kids will have the same privilege I was given. By fat the best expirenece ive ever had. best place- best people in the world. Thank god my rents sent me here, i met my wife here and my best friends are still my waiter bunk. if you can afford it- send your child here. it molded me into the person i am today.

If you're looking for a camp 'experience' and not fancy facilities...this is the place. I have never seen a camp on such a gorgeous lake in such beautiful surroundings. The boys bond in a unique way and traditions are passed down from generation to generation. My 3 older brothers went (I was at Che-na-wah, the sister camp) and now my 3 boys go. They love it and look forward to it all year long. Most of the counselors were campers and many campers and counselors have parents who went to camp too. It's a place filled with love and tradition!

This camp is the coolest camp in the world. We go to the sister camp, che-na-wah and we love it there. This camp is also AMAZING BACO PRIDE---PEACEEEEE

Beautiful camp with the lake and the setting. They seem to know how to run it well. The counselors are pretty good but could be better. Everyone has "baco pride" which shows pride for sports and how much they think that its the best place on earth. The only complaint I have is that the camp director loses his temper way too easily and yells at everything.

Baco is the cheapest camp. It cannot compare to a camp like Brant Lake, they beat us in everything. The camp grounds are barren and brown. The weather there is always gray and gross.

This is one of the greatest places on earth. I went to Baco for 11 summers as a camper and counselor. Many of my best friends today are bunkmates of mine from over 20 years ago. My experiences at camp are a big part of who I am today. I highly reccomend this place to any kid!

Going to Baco totally shaped my childhood. Even as an adult, I still dream of Lake Balfour. I could not recommend Baco highly enough.
