I went back in the 80s but i heard it's much better now. The activities were fun unfortunately there were alot of jerks there, but then again that's a part of life. All and all if your kid likes sports it would be the right place to send him.

I cant find a nother way to put this... The Crest is the best thing that ever happened to me. I have some of my best friends there and look foward to going for a much longer time to come. The sports are competitive and fun, the bunks are great, the counselors are amazing, I mean it was just everything that i could of wished of.

What a summer my son had! Sports Broadcasting, the radio station, and even CB TV! An administration and staff that has its eye on the ball!

I've been involved with the "crest" for over 35 years. My best friends came from there. We stay in touch to this day. Bauercrest is family. We would do anything for each other. Bauercrest for today, tomorrow and always.

For the money, can't beat it. Homegrown staff, homegrown director...guys who truly get it. Send your son, you won't regret it. They'll make lifelong friends. Facilities are terrific...incredible indoor gym, batting cages, lighted ball fields and tennis courts. The Crest has it all. From our campus on the hillside, from this place we love so well...

Couldn't believe the amount of downtime the kids had. Rainy days meant sitting around the bunks with kids picking on eachother. Open showers where kids wait nude. Facilities non existent and didn't keep bunk assignments like promised. Couldn't wait to leave!

As a college student who attended this camp for 8 summers I can honestly say that the Crest was the greatest experience I could have ever dreamed of. I love everything about this camp, everything that it taught me and all of the friends that I made. I truly wish that I could go back every summer. I miss it dearly.

I cannot wait for the 2008 season! The reunion was awesome and reading the winter newsletter got me psyched for the summer. No place else I'd rather be!

I couldn't ask for a better experience for my son! The leadership and philosophy of this camp are wonderful. So many of the staff members have grown up here, which really shows in the care and attention provided to the campers. We noticed it when we visited and even moreso since our son has completed his first summer!

My son has loved his summers at Bauercrest and just loves going back. His closest friends are from Bauercrest and keep in touch all winter. The facilities are excellent for a non profit camp and the staff to camper ratio is good. Every year he has had 3 counselors for approximately 11 kids. I receive weekly email updates from the staff and when ever I had a question they have responded in a positive manner. My youngest son will start next summer and he already is talking about it.

This camp has soul. I can't emphasize enough how much I've gotten out of my many years associated with the Crest. Great friends, clients, memories...past and still to come. Staff is home grown, passionate about camp and being former campers, know what kids want. The director, Rob Brockman, is a passionate, caring and wonderful guy. A big improvement...he listens. For a non profit, the facilities (gym, batting cages, Project Adventure etc) are first rate...comparable to a private camp. There's something for any boy who justw ants to have the time of his life.

This camp is marginal, at best. Facilities are just so-so. Staff leaves much to be desired. Organizationally a mess!

You couldnt ask for anything more from a summer camp . . . i miss it every year i am not there . . . it made me who i am today and i am proud to claim that . . . you will never form a tighter bond with someone . . . people who go to bauercrest return every year which results in a comfortable brotherly atmosphere
