Please don't send your child!!! The staff has way too much attitude - driver and teachers. The driver was not on time on the second day and when asked to be on time, she was rude and not apologetic for making us wait for 25 mins. The third week Monday, no one showed for pick up!!! No explanation provided by the driver or the school when I called. The bus coordinator took the weekly schedule but yet had no clue to which day to pickup and I had to call each morning to ask who was coming that day! Her teacher refused to give me feedback on her swimming progress. My 5-year-old first time in the pool - she was naturally scared so I expressed concern and was shut down - quote from the teacher "I know she's your only child but I don't have time for this. I don't have to talk to you. Please talk to the director"!!!! I can't even begin to express how upset and disappointed I am with this school. BIG LET DOWN. I was expecting better but I guess money can't buy you good values and ethics. Stay aw

NO BULLIES? are you kidding us? I am pulling my son out OF THIS CAMP AFTER ONE WEEK because one big bully made his life miserable the entire first week he attended. This bully got away with even taunting us adults while no staff was watching! and he had all the boys at the 10 and up group rally behind him in his bullying ways; We brought it up to the administration attention and they said that our son was having nothing but fun! there is not enough supervision at these age group and I have seen other parents complain about bullying in other sites. So THERE IS BULLYING in this camp and IT IS NOT AGGRESSIVELY ADDRESSED BY THE ADMINISTRATION. PARENTS BEWARE!!! this administration did not approach this hands on not even because the victim has special needs, they just patch up the complaint at the moment but it did not stop, the bully is rampant doing his will .

Environmnet prone to infections. Per my daughter (6yrs old) all children urinate in the swimming pool with no supervision. The time spent in swim pool is before they go to classroom activities where they sit with hair wet into AC environment. Activities are not as advertised (e.g. week of July 15 they were supposed to make puppets - has not happened). I have been calling the school and nobody seems to know anything. Unable to obtain any answer from staff.

My 8 yr old dghter LOVES this camp. Nice kids, "No bullies allowed"! Expelled a bully immediately. Staff VERY attentive to kids & parents. My complaints re: bus & driver were remedied same day. Wonderful programs, including(2)optional, fun, 45 minute educational periods taught by their own teachers. My dghtr has not once asked "why am I in school during camp"! Other choices for those two periods are fine arts (includes pottery wheel), sports or theatre. Indoor lunchroom was deciding factor for my dghter who has "fear of bugs" phase & main reason SHE decided to leave Buckley since Buckley's buffet lunch is outdoors w/lots of bees, & kids drink water from garden hose which is unsanitary. Garden School has all ammenities of "country" camps including instructional swim & sports, crazy hat day, etc without the trees,carnivals, etc. It has REAL A/C, not lukewarm like other camps. No trips off premises(my preference), and to boot, it is half the price, including bus,lunch & snacks. GREAT CAMP
