I have Been going to this camp for the past 10 years, because I love it so Much. All of the staff is amazing aswell, i highly suggest IT to anyone Who Wants to go to an amazing camp

My daughter attended this camp last summer and came home gushing over the entire experience. The staff exceeded my expectations; every staff member I met at drop off and pick up seemed relaxed and friendly. My daughter adored the water activities, the kyaking was definitely a highlight for her. I loved that my daughter's safety was so clearly a priority, and yet she still had an amazing time.

Food was dreadful, lack of personal attention from staff for a first time camper, badly organized arrival and departure, left camper not wanting to go back to camp. Horseback riding activity was well run and a highlight.

The canoe trips at camp are my favourite thing to do in the summer! I look forward to summer just so I can go to camp.

My cousin and our friends went there last year. it was horrible, we actually asked for a refund. They took our luggage away and then wouldnt let us access it. Then it rained and all our stuff got wet. They wouldnt let us have our tolitries and my friend was on her period! WORST CAMP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! after such a bad experience we might not even go to a camp this year. Definitly NOT doe lake!

This camp has narly activities. But way too many rules; you can only show on tuesday and thursday. The staff were not friendly. I hated the set up of activities. Not a great camp for onlder girls. WOULD DEF NOT GO BACK.

It was alright, deffinately not my favourite though. Its good for people that like the average summer camp.

10 summers...started in a building, moved to tents with raised floors to tents with mud floors, and back to a building. Some of the leaders were creepy, others were awesome. Did sailing, canoeing, learned to drive a motor boat, hiking, high & low ropes, swimming, windsurfing (high-wind self rescue anybody? I managed to get my windsurfer into the position, but before I could get back on it, it flew away from me...picture me bobbing in the water, using my water shoes as hand paddles to get my board back, but it was quickly flying away from me with the sail on top of the board). I loved the canoe trips, loved the trips to the barn, and loved when the tuck shop sold real food. Rules were definitely too stringent...I've been to other camps and Doe was very strict. Tuck once a week? I was 9 and 10 going to a different camp and we could wander around anywhere as long as we had a buddy with us...including spending what we wanted to at the tuck shop.

I went to this camp for three summers. I loved all the activities (kayaking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, high ropes, climbing wall, etc) but I hated all the rules. There were too many (ex. to go from your tent to another one you had to put on a hat.) and some of them were pointless. When you are a bit younger the rules seem ok, but when you are in grade 7 or older, the rules seem too excessive.

DOE LAKE GIRL GUIDE CAMP IS THE MOST FUN CAMP I'VE EVER BEEN TO. The staff are great and there are so many activities that you can do!! From canoeing and kayaking on the waterfront, to the high and low ropes courses to dance/drama/music and arts and crafts. It is sooo much fun and you really should go! Even if you're not a girl guide!!
