I just want to let everyone know that whoever says you MUST have brand names and 300$ shirts are wrong. I come from a VERY out of town city and my first year I had no hardtail or anything that was "in fashion" and everyone was so extremely sweet and caring and I've made some of my best friends in my 3 years at Raninu. If you don't care, they don't care, so stop worrying so much about what you wear and what you have and just have fun! It's simply not worth it to sit there and sulk and then write nasty reviews because you didn't give it a genuine try. I recommend Camp Raninu to anyone who's looking to make amazing new friends, have nice facilities and the BEST staff ever, delicious food, and the best activities you could ever dream of!

My only question to the last poster is if it was so bad, why did you go for so many years.I have also been in Raninu since I was little and I am now a staff member.There is so much caring, thought and depth behind Raninu, the staff is amazing and very down to earth, the snobby reputation is so unfair and totally untrue and the food? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? If you dont like the food, you havent been to Raninu! I cant wait to send my daughters here. Just a fantastic experience for today's bas yisroel.

I heard Raninu was jappy so i was i was afraid to go there. but all of my friends were going so i went too.NOT JAPPY AT ALL!!!!. from married staff to counselors and jc's and waitresses and lifeguards, everyone was sooooo nice and welcomed me.i felt like i was home from the first minute. this is the warmest place i have ever been to. i feel bad for those girls that didnt have a good time.this camp rox!!!!

this camp sucks. idk why chedvah has a jappy name and raninu duznt as much bc raninu is SOOO much jappier (ive been to BOTH) and in raninu like the kids and even STAFF members make comments if ur not wearing like a $200 shirt but in chedvah like half the camp is wearing bizzes and old navy tshirts and the other half is really only the younger kids who only have teh clothing there parents buy but in raninu even STAFF wears denim pencil skirts and nice tops on a REGULAR DAY. also SOO strict u cant have ANY fun! DONT go to this camp WHATEVR u do!

raninu is the worst everyone there is brand name this brand name that all the counslers only stick to the jappyest and the snobbyest pple. i hadnt it you should never go there never ever ever they where 1000 dollar clothes and there so snobish and only hang out with there friends and they dont make any new friends and that is what camp is all about the activities stunk and the counslers were probaly the worst first of all they were exactly like the campers snobish and jappy in a new kind of way and the only thing they talked about was brand names and where they got it from i rated this horrible cause it tru,y is now i will type more horrible things because i want to type 1000characters of badness okay here it goes stupid, snobish, jappy, beyond jappy, counslers= stinks activities= stink the camo itsel= stink i am almost here so you get the point never go there in you life. get it got it good! never ever go there. i am almost there so get there camp raninu is so BAD 1OOO WORDS AWESOME!

I've been going for the past 4 years and I am literally obsessed. The food is awesome, the staff rocks my olam, The activities are so much fun, the other campers are really nice, the camp nurse and camp mother are absolutely incredible, it's the best camp EVER!There are no words to describe the greatness of camp Raninu. Best camp in the world!!! This was my 6th year and I loved every second of it!!!! My favorite activity by far was banana boating the speed boat drive this year was the most amazing yet and the lake lifeguards were so much fun!! Mrs E-L-B-A-Z-Z-Z-A-Z-Z-Z-A-Z-Z-Z they really do put the ra ra in you!!!

RANINU RANINU WE LOVE YOU RANINU RANINU RANINU WE LOVE YOU RANINU! I love the feeling i get when the bus pulls up and you see the big purple Raninu sign. Raninu is my home away from home! I'm so sad that this will be my last year as a camper! :( but I'm so excited to be going back! it is definitely the CLEANEST camp i've ever been too. even girls who didn't like the camp so much (i cant even begin to see why!) have to agree with me on that one!

OMGGGG! It's an awesome camp! Sure, some girls are weird-but if you ignore them and stick with the nice girls, you will have an amazing time! The grounds are amazing! The staff is overall OK-some of them are weird too, but again: stay away from them! This was my 5th year! Lemme tell you, as long as you listen to my advice you will for sure have the best summer ever! (MAKE SURE TO GET ON MRS.KAMIN'S GOOD SIDE-I DIDN'T, BIG MISTAKE!)

If you are going into 9th grade- you better come to raninu this year...the whole camp is great but tof is forsure the best experience ever! The activities are a blast and the camp is clean and the food is great and everything is really awesome!! If you are looking for a camp-choose raninu!!

I went to raninu for two years. The camp itself is not so bad, but I feel like the girls place too much emphasis on who you hang out with and what brand names you wear (Come on people, it's summer camp, don't wear your $300 ralph lauren polos!). I also felt that the staff in charge did not care very much about each girl as an individual, although my counselors were great! I do have to say that I was in Symphony and that was AMAZING!If you're thinking about going to Raninu because of Symphony, then it is probably worth it.

Camp raninu roxs, i can't wait to leave for the bus in 27 days. The staff is pretty good when they are with you. but they leave a lot. last year my counselor dissapered of grounds for one whole day. the facilities are kindda but the pool and grounds are beautiful. personal attention is okay. the montary value is pretty good. over all raninu is the best camp ever. they have really great activites. like boating, go carting, ropes coarse, archery, last year they got a water slide and this year they got a water trapoline. it is going to be a blast.

I've been going to this camp for eight years, and I have to say it is the BEST camp experience a girl could wish for. I had fantastic, warm, fun counselors 3 out of the four years that I was there as a camper in "Main Raninu," and the Rina division was AMAZING- the girls were great and the supervisors were fantastic people who really cared about us. Being JC and counselor was really fun and rewarding. I made a really good group of friends from this camp who I would never have had if i hadnt gone to this camp. I highly recommend it!!

Camp Raninu is by far the greatest camp in the world!!!! The RUACH and spirit of the camp make it the greatest! The staff are fun, loving, role models for the campers! Just watch the RANINU video and you won't have any doubts RANINU is the greatest!!! My best summers were spent in Raninu!! = I definitely lived it up over there!

i think this camp is great.the staff can be pretty means sometimes i think the water slides are soooooooooo much fun and so is the ropes coarse i really liked my bunk and the activities the food is ok but i didnt like my counslers it was my third year and i cant wait for next years overnight! raninu is the greatest. hey camp raninu!!!! this is the BEST MOST FANTASTIC GREATEST CAMP IN THE UNIVERSE. the staff is amazing and the FOOD IS HEAVEN!! and the canteen is a whole different story!(YUM!!!) the activities r a blast!!! and the pools and slides r so much fun!!!!we even go banana boating by our very own huge raninu lake. and we have bbqs at the lake!!! all the bad things that were written r not true!!! the themes and songs r adorable and original! and the trips and overnights r too cool! (hershey and hotel was a blast!!) this is our 5th year!! and were goin back for whole summer again cuz we had a blast!!! were thrilled to go back for the 11th year!!!! we wouldnt think of switching camps EVER!!! camp raninu is a fantastic camp but my jc needs improvement. whoever does the interviewing for counsellors should really look into their backgrounds. just as the campers are hand picked so should the staff be. it is very important that capmers be happy. i still had a great time.

I went to this camp for three years and I am planning on going back for a fourth year. All three years that I have gone, my counselors and junior counselors have been very welcoming and caring. The staff makes sure to do exciting and new activities daily. I love the schedule. This camp is perfect for girls who are interested on having a fun learning experience and would like to have fun at the same time.

Raninu is fun, the first few summers. It's very repetitive and you have to go with friends otherwise it can be kind of miserable I think.
